I bought this route yesterday in the sale (only £5 off but better than nothing) and found there is no announcements anywhere on any trains or platforms. Disappointing, as I know it used to. I’ve seen many other people say the same, and although I’m on PS5 I’m seeing PC users report it too. So it’s not platform specific. Any ideas or hope of a fix?
Because is a tsw5 route, unless they decide to remaster it adding announcements, is fine there is no announcements for now
No, it had announcements. Watch any video of it. And now they’ve disappeared. People have since reported they’ve gone missing on B’ham-Crewe too
Recently all my class 323 announcements has disappeared from the Manchester airport line. Wonder anyone else facing the same issue. I have reported it with recordings from the route to DTG
It’s not just the 323 on mine. I have no announcements on any train or platform. Never heard one since I bought it last weekend. I’ve reported it too. I had a reply saying they’re looking into it. I’ve heard a PC player say it too, so it’s not platform specific
It’s like when they accidentally switched off the designation boards off by mistake few months ago and fixed it later on
Could we get an update on this as all the station and train announcements have disappeared. I’m playing through Steam. They were all working for this route and now they have completely gone.
Can confirm it's the same for me on Xbox Series X. Hopefully this can get fixed soon as the announcements are a really nice feature.
Same here, kind of puts me off a bit, the announcements make the route. I used to like that route being local to it, but not hearing them it's not quite the same. Bad from DTG.
Annoying isn't it, one minute there was announcements, next minute nothing, they make that route!!!! Shame on DTG.
Yes it turns out they are there on the Voyager. I hadn’t been on it. But all other trains and all platforms are missing. Wish they’d fix it.
