@dal#7945 Where did you hear those rumours? After all, DTG actually said that updates will be released every Tuesday from today until 30 June.

Perhaps he got the date wrong. We’ll know by around 3 pm at the latest, as Steam updates usually come out at 9 am or 3 pm.
"... we have just been informed That update 9 that includes both the MAC and class 90 will now be out on Wednesday the 17th June". The way it's worded does sounds like a delay has happened.

Upcoming Updates Coming up in June, we've outlined some key dates for us to release a range of improvements that we've been testing from multiple of our development partners, and lining these up as core updates alongside a range of fixes from your community feedback. We're hoping this helps address the issues you've identified, and helps us elevate your experience with a range of content across the month. @FifeFlyer75 I’ve just seen something about this on Discord; I think it was Jan who wrote that the updates won’t be released until tomorrow, 24 June 2026.
They really should not give out specific dates. Are they gonna post something on the forum for us who doesn't use discord.
I think Patch comming out tomorrow.This is for US content- San Bernardino and others.Thursday will GP60M comming.
To be fair they did say (when the original dates were released) that the dates could be subject to change.
@dal#7945 I totally agree with you! Because that was apparently already posted on Discord yesterday, and why is it that you can post it on Discord, but nobody from DTG is saying anything about it here on the forum!
It’s just disrespectful that they don’t share important information with all segments of their community. Unless you are on their darling discord DTG don’t give a hoot about keeping you up to date unless there’s cold hard cash in terms of new sales in it for them.
Maybe it's just my age (50 ) but I'm not a huge fan of Discord. Had a look over there after somebody mentioned the delay had been pointed out on it, but find it all a bit of a muddled mess and hard to follow. Anyway, if it's going to be another day then it is what it is. As the update seems to be mostly focused on US routes (not my bag, but each to their own) I'm not expecting massive things from the Fife update. Just a few things (not least sounds, and scenery) which will hopefully make it much more fun to play.
If the schedule follows the same pattern as the last update, today we should have the anticipated patch notes, tomorrow around 9AM (UK time) we should have the update and then on thursday, the release of the GP60M
I think that with "USA focus" they meant that the number of US dlcs to be updated tomorrow will be significantly greater than any UK or german dlcs that might also be updated
Your glass would have to be almost totally full to read it that way. To me it's just another example of DTG's attitude towards the North American fan base in recent years.
yes, you're probably right but if we consider the last update, which was "UK focus" there were some updated german dlcs, but the number of UK dlcs was much higher
Well, there were other countries DLCs included in UK content update as well, I believe in German content update it will be similiar. No idea why they couldn't put all UK content to its update and move German content to German Update as well, weird decission there, but maybe there is a reason behind that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Also, considering that UK Update was released with one day of a delay, and that it is silent here so far, we might assume that US Update is coming tomorrow and not today.
yes, it does matter. i’ve spent over a grand on dlcs over the years, many have spent even more so it’s perfectly reasonable to expect those dlcs to be maintained to a good standard, no matter what country/type of route it is
So it matters greatly that the update is one day later than originally planned? It matters greatly that the updates also include fixed from more than one countries routes? They are bringing out fixes yet still being moaned at! It's wild that the staff don't hang out on here more often! I can't think why they don't.
Yeah, I don't get the whole obsession with one day or the other. It's close enough. I don't plan my life around TSW. Either is fine and they did say subject to change. If it were a significant change (a week or two) then maybe there might have a point. Some are even whinging over the exact time. As for Discord... it's a resource hog. There's a noticeable drain on system resources just to have it running in the background, like Steam. However, unlike Steam you don't need it to play most games so I tend to avoid it like the plague unless it's absolutely necessary (like running a group chat in multi-player.) For passing information it's not a good platform. I don't see the point at all really for people on console and/or who have better/in-game voice chat services.
i apologise, i interpreted your comment as a jab at those demanding updates. i completely agree that one day later than planned (if memory serves, dtg already stated that the plan wasn’t a final date) won't make a difference
Having installed the updates today after being away for a few days I’ve found that bridge reverb is pretty much gone now on Preston to Carlisle. I’d say it worked probably 15-20% of the times I passed under bridges. Has there been any response on the reverb issue being broken by the update as yet???

I think the thing that gets me most about the majority here is the anger, and over a game! People will spend literally hours standing under PIS boards and then come on here raging because they found a spelling mistake. I don’t care how much you’ve spent on the game that behavior is neither healthy nor normal. I play the game and try to enjoy myself and overlook minor graphical and data anomalies because it’s not worth losing your sh1t over!
