Does anyone know what coaching stock works correctly with the 90 for passenger services? I used a 47 with mk1s and 90 on the front but the hook coupler didn't work with just the mk1s...
90150 didn’t appear to have one when I saw it at Crewe last year. So I believe the Freightliner versions do not have buckeyes but the passenger versions (and those used by EWS/DB Cargo) did.
They should have released the class 90 in June to be honest when it was actually ready. Proves they wanted the money first before it product was finished
So has being unable to acknowledge AWS with controller been fixed in tomorrow's update? It mentions fixing various AWS issues but i didn't see that listed specifically.
NO i use a XBOX joypad on my PC and it doesn't work so using the Q button on the keyboard only I'm afraid. other than that I'm really enjoying the class 90.
Well now i'm confused lol Surely it should work on PC if it works on console. Gonna wait for more data to come in i guess
i was able to get mine refunded, so i cant speak from personal experience. i can say i watched a video from Train simulator Driver on youtube and he used an Xbox gamepad on Pc and the keybinds work fine for AWS and Vigilence now. video for reference:
better product now, this would’ve been an acceptable state to release it in but still plenty of work to do
this is so strange. just watched the video from Melbourne Train Guy to make sure i wasn't missing anything. I followed his instructions but my B button still doesn't work. any idea's folks as I'm stumped. I'm beginning to think its something my end because if its working for everyone else and not for me. I have checked the alerter (B button on XBOX controller) on the class 66 and all good.
Sorry ignore everything i have just said it is working & it appears it does still appear in WCML-South
Regarding the passage concerning the low res textures "In the meantime: We will be hosting a texture mod on the ATS website for PC players to download if they wish" Where's that patch being hosted? I know it says it's on the ATS website. But I've checked it. There's no mention of the Class 90 for TSW at all, much less than nothing of a patch. Does anybody have any info on that matter?
Great news folks.as a last resort i done a file integrity check through steam and it found an error so my B button for AWS is working fine.so i must have getting a corrupt file during todays big patch. so yea all perfect now.
So after holding off for months I bought this today as the first update is finally out. Loco is good to be fair but the WCML(S) timetable and scenarios have rather sparse traffic. It’s like they were made for gen 8 consoles.
I am holding out for a better timetable. It is a great shame it isn't on the new Trent Valley route, not that I have that one yet.
This loc is dead born I guess. No good timetable, some fixes but not to 100% etc. Would be nice if just trains could do a class91 for forget this one fast
Fingers crossed. If the fact that the 90 does not layer onto Trent Valley and Birm-Crewe is because of historical disagreements between 3rd party creators, then I would just ask that for the benefit of paying customers / community they put aside their differences and make this happen.
I really hope that isn’t the case and there’s been nothing to suggest it is. While I’m usually a glass half empty guy I remain cautiously optimistic that this won’t be hidden behind a paywall
I don't know why this perceived drama keeps being trotted out, it was debunked months ago. Edit: further down that thread, a longer explanation.
What drama? Who cares, not me. People are understandably frustrated as to why the 90 is lacking layers on All Aboard routes, so it is perfectly natural to wonder if their creators shared history is a factor (ideally it should not be).
Yes, but you're wondering about something that's already been refuted months ago. Although to be fair, you did it least ponder 'if', rather than confidently state 'because', as umpteen others have done since then! Nice avatar, btw. I always enjoyed catching the No. 15 heritage Routemaster to Tower Hill, back when I worked just off Fleet Street.
I caved in and bought it after the update, and I have to say, the sounds are an absolute pile of Cow's droppings, as you say, it's quieter outside, I can't hear anything from it, absolute c.r.a.p.! I don't know if this has anything to do with DTG's sound changes in the recent update because it does seem to have borked other things
Speed Set What have the devs done to the Speed Set in the latest update? Using Service 0A06 as a test and running the game on the PC platform: Starting from stationary, if I set Speed Set to 50 mph and set throttle to Max, train accelerates to 50 mph and correctly holds that speed. If I then set Speed Set to 40 mph, train slows down to 34 mph, then accelerates to 40 mph and holds that speed. If I then set Speed Set to 30 mph, train slows down to 24 mph, then accelerates to 30 mph and holds that speed. If I then set Speed Set to 20 mph, train slows down to 15 mph, then accelerates to 20 mph and holds that speed. If I then set Speed Set to 10 mph, train slows down to 5 mph, then accelerates to 10 mph and holds that speed. If I then set Speed Set to 5 mph, train slows down to 3 mph, then accelerates to 5 mph and holds that speed. Why is there such an extreme lag in speed response? Does this mimic reality? Successive increases in desired speed work as expected. Also, how do you now turn Speed Set off? Starting from stationary, If I set Speed Set to 110 mph to turn it off (as was the way to do it before), then open the throttle to Min, the train accelerates to 110 mph at minimum throttle! So Speed Set is evidently still active. If I set Speed Set to 0 mph to try and turn it off, then the train won't move at all at any throttle setting. So Speed Set is evidently still active. Is there now some other switch somewhere to turn Speed Set off? It all worked fine before the update!
