Today I will be suggesting the Waterloo & City Line For Train Sim world 6
The line is universally known by its nickname, "The Drain".
    Why?
It is by far the shortest line on the London Underground network. It spans just 1.47 miles (2.37 km). Taking just 4 minutes to complete the journey. This would be TSW's first route that is 100% entirely underground, diving 23 feet beneath the River Thames
It offers hyper-focused, high-frequency gameplay perfect for quick gameplay sessions.
Introduces the distinct 4-car variant of the 1992 Stock, providing a completely fresh driving profile, interior layout, and audio experience for underground enthusiasts.

    Trains Included:
    LU 1992 Stock:

    Waterloo Depot:

    Introduction:
    • Waterloo & City Line Introduction
    • LU 1992 Stock Introduction (Starting at Waterloo Depot)
    Scenarios:

Difficulty Level 1: The First Shifter
    • Time to Complete: 5 Minutes
      • Weather: Clear
      • Time of Day: 06 :15 AM
      • Description: Open the line for the day. Drive an empty 1992 Stock train out of Waterloo Depot and position it at Waterloo platform 1 to prepare for the morning service.
      • Gameplay Focus: Low-speed yard driving, simple signal adherence, and basic platform alignment.
Difficulty Level 2: The Steeper Gradient
    • Time to Complete: 4 Minutes
      • Time of Day: 12:30 PM
      • Weather: Overcast (Surface)
      • Description: Conduct a standard midday run from Waterloo to Bank. You must carefully manage your power and braking while navigating the sharp drops and climbs beneath the River Thames.
      • Gameplay Focus: Speed restriction adherence, hill management, and smooth stopping on a gradient.

Difficulty Level 3: The Rush Hour Shuttle
    • Time to Complete: 12 Minutes
      • Time of Day: 08:15 AM (Morning Peak)
      • Weather: Overcast (Surface)
      Description
The morning rush hour is at its absolute peak. Thousands of commuters are pouring off National Rail trains at Waterloo and need to get to the City financial district immediately. You are tasked with running a high-frequency shuttle service back and forth to clear the platforms.
    • Gameplay Focus: Focus on high-pressure time management, rapid cab reconfiguration, and precise throttle handling on heavy inclines
Difficulty Level 4: The Defective Unit
    • Time to Complete: 9 Minutes
      • Time of Day: 10:15 AM
      • Weather: Foggy (Surface)
      • Description: A train ahead of you has suffered a minor traction failure. You are tasked with driving close behind it under strict restriction signals, keeping a slow, steady pace until the line ahead clears.
      • Gameplay Focus: Driving on restrictive aspects (red/yellow aspects with tripcock override rules), severe speed management, and high vigilance.
⚫ Difficulty Level 5: Out of Service Push
    • Time to Complete: 15 Minutes
      • Time of Day: 01:15 AM
      • Weather: Stormy (Surface)
      • Description: A failed 1992 Stock train is stranded on the incline leading up from the River Thames. You must couple your train to the rear of the failed unit and push it up the steep gradient into the Waterloo Depot.
      • Gameplay Focus: Precision coupling, managing heavy weight combined with low traction, steep incline starting, and complex depot track routing.
As a massive fan and enthusiast of the London Underground network, I want to see TSW's subterranean operations treated with the high level of realism, immersion, and accuracy that the developers bring to modern National Rail routes. Whether it is fixing the legacy clipping bugs and station accuracy on the Bakerloo line or introducing the completely unique operational challenges of "The Drain," expanding the London Underground presence in TSW would be an absolute dream for the community. Thanks for reading and considering!

It would be a nice £10 novelty route, maybe some of the proceeds to charity. However I would like to see it with the older iconic Class 487 trains.

Is this a joke suggestion? Also I sense the whiff of AI with the "absolute dream for the community" stuff.
Fiver, tops. And even then only if proceeds were entirely to charity.

I don't want any developers spending their time making this route even if it's a novelty and/or charity release.

I hate to shame people for coming-up with dreadful ideas but this is so bad that I used to reference it as a potential DLC as a joke when there were legitimate concerns over the length of routes in TSW back in the early days.

What next? The monorail between Gatwick Airport's North and South terminals? The DLR? The miniature railway in Barking Park, London? London's Post Office Railway? My old 1.5m x 3m model railway layout?
