Could you please provide some more information. What exact loco is used? Orientation of the loco related to the consist (cab1 forwards or not). Remember, the 483.0 does not display traction gauge with every loco. Especially the 111 is only the Stuttgart one that works correctly, not the others.

Hi Maik, of course. Just tested on service SE (28188) Stuttgart Hbf to Kaiserslautern Hbf, the first one to use the Wittenberger in Journey Mode. The traction/braking indicator stays idle using the BR 111 on the back of the consist. The loco has cab 2 facing forwards (towards the coaches) and cab 1 facing backwards. Also tested with substitutions turned off in the game settings, so it has to be the Stuttgart one that is being used. Playing on PC via Steam. Let me know if you need any more information.

Sure thing Maik! I'm at work right now, but will check it in the evening and provide all the information I can :)

Can you please check the MU Selection Switch and what it is set to? It should be set to KWS. Or the loco will not send any usable values to the cab car. Other locos, except 110, should all be driven in ZWS mode. There is a chance that services are not set up correctly and therefor using the default what is ZWS. The loco works normally with it, but the gauges not.

Funny coincidence, I was just testing and about to write! :o:D
This seems to be the issue. Both the loco and the cab are set to ZWS. Setting both to KWS resolves the issue.
On Frankfurt-Fulda, both are set to KWS by default and there it works right away.

Setting both switches to KWS indeed ensures that the gauges work again. But when applying traction the indicator in the WiKo cab now goes off to the left into the 'bremsen' section instead of the other way around.

Interesting, to me the opposite happens. On acceleration it works fine, but when usinge the E-brake, the indicator moves to the "Fahren" side instead of the "Bremsen" side. I noticed that on Frankfurt-Fulda a couple of weeks ago already.
But still better than the indicator not working at all ;)

Well, that’s odd. I’d be curious to know how this happens. It’s definitely better than it not working at all, but not quite how it’s meant to be.

I picked up this route in the summer sale and have been really enjoying it so far. Two things worth noting: I was surprised to see the PRESS BR 155 substituted onto this route, which doesn’t seem appropriate for the time period since this variant of the locomotive has only existed for a few years. And the n-Wagen coaches are incredibly loud at higher speeds, especially when viewed with the external camera. It would be great if their sound could be balanced a bit more in line with the other rolling stock in the game.

Yeah the PRESS 155 shows up very frequently in the 2000-timetable, which is not accurate. I wouldn't be against the 155 subbing in, but the DB 155 would be the appropriate choice.
I think I've noted that here a couple of pages ago myself too, but admittedly it's a low priority issue :)

The n-Wagen are rather loud at high speeds, but that's pretty much spot on with the original ;)
Not sure if the Wittenberger cab shouldn't have a different level of soundproofing than the Karlsruher cab tho...
