    There was a SPAD event in 2005/2006 (can’t remember exactly) where the driver had used speed set and then stopped paying as much attention to the signals he was getting. ASLEF and Southern agreed at that time not to permit the use of speed set.

    So it's there and it works, but it can't be used according to the instructions or it's been disabled altogether?

    It’s a company instruction not to use it.

    I’ve never tried to use it on the real ones (not too keen on the Form 1 I’d likely get for doing so) so can’t say if it’s disabled or not.

    Vaguely recall talk about them letting us use it going through the carriage washers but don’t think anything came of it.

    Real 377s really struggle at low speed. Driving round Streatham Hill especially at 5mph is really frustrating at times. Fortunately Selhurst is 15mph.

    Ai 171s suffer from the same front light problem as the ScotRail 170s, only headlight side has the light on, the smaller light(side light or marker I can never remember?) on the other side remains off.

    They only have 2 power cars vs 3 on the other units we have in game.

    Driving the Class 171 for the first time, and when I sound the horn, the high horn won't stop. (TSW 6 via Steam on Windows 11 with Azerty keyboard)

    What have noticed with the 171 is there is a lot of sound popping and crackling on xbox.

    Class 171 job ig62 anyone done this one yet been stuck at red signal just before brighton station. Waited 25mins didn't change there was an empty platform and clear path. On xbox

    Amazing that the 170 model has basically been taken and copied, some things changed and yet you still haven't managed to fix the AI headlights stuck with only the main headlight on until you get into the cab yourself and set them to off then back to day. The 170s in the B2C have this fixed. The 170s on the Scottish Routes haven't - so its clear which one was chosen to be copied.

    I think I have found the issue: I had the same two buttons assigned to these functions:
    - PgDn: Horn 1 up; Horn 2 down
    - End: Horn 1 down, Horn 2 up
    This led to the horn lever moving and deforming diagonally (because it shouldn't be able to be activated both up/down and sideways at the same time), and horn 2 getting stuck on. Removing the Horn 2 functions fixes my issue, but I think it would be wise to fix the buttons interfering with horn 1 and 2 if they are assigned to both.

    From my guessing they at least partly used the oldest 377 model as their base for the /3 too. Why they'd do this I have no clue.

    I’ve been having problems with the circle button not cancelling vigilance for the 377/3 on PS5 pro.

    I agree with all the above points including headlight indicator, PIS and Sounds.

    I have also noticed that the camera on the 377/3 and /4 doesn’t snap back by the cab and is still just where it was last.

    Also a small point but I still feel noteworthy all the BML traffic misses out all the stops between Brighton and Haywards Heath on the display boards. It looks like they’ve just copied one pattern and pasted it to all of them.

    The shadow LOD is really bad on the 377/3. As soon as you move the external camera away, the shadows shrink and take on a weird shape. Xbox Series X.

    Something that looks like a brake rotates with the leading wheel on the 377/3 (It wouldn't shock me if it was on the others).

    This is what you'll unfortunately have to deal with for a blurless run, the default draw distances for shadows have been nerfed to try and prevent bluring of textures

    The couping distance and cables are stil bugged of the 171/7, the cables between the cariages are hanging true the ground, too long. I'm not sure if the coupling distance is correct, maybe to short. Of the class 171/8, the coupling distance in the middle is too long, it don't look right.

    I picked this add-on up in the Xbox sale and I have to say I'm really enjoying it so far. No blurry textures and a busy timetable is what I hope we see more of in the future. Anyway back to the add-on, the 171 is a really nice train to drive, I've always enjoyed the turbostars in game and this one is no different. However I have seen videos where the 171 has announcements, but when I drive it there are no announcements (this is the same with the 377/3). Can anyone from DTG confirm whether the announcements feature has been removed from these trains and if there is any possibility of them being added back? I thought these trains were supposed to have them so I'm a bit confused. Platform announcements and announcements on the 377/4 and 313 work fine even though I think they are using the GWR announcer for some reason. The horn on the 377 variants still cuts out but I don't expect this to be fixed as it has been an issue since the first electrostar released.

    From my understanding the announcements on the 313 are the same voice as Riviera and the new 171/377 had some great announcements much more accurate to the southern region. Was hoping they'd port the announcements over to the 313.

    I have been playing the route extensively and also have knowledge of the route irl as I travel down it weekly. This was my favourite route when it came out and I still play it regularly. That being said I have to say though the trains don’t feel like a TSW6 release and I just pray some of the issues are addressed.
    For the 377
    - The headlight display panel is wrong as it shows the headlights as red when it should be yellow/white. (377/3 only)
    - Sounds aren’t update to the 377/3
    - Announcements missing (377/3 only)
    - The train exterior camera doesn’t click back to a spot and stays where it was last. (Both variants)
    - The exterior PIS blind text is far too large.
    - The PIS at the side doesn’t scroll the list of stops when it should.
    Timetable
    -Thameslink services from Brighton are missing all the stops between Brighton and Wivelsfield on the PIS boards
    - 1F towards Ore don’t display Ore orEastbourne and Ore on the train or station PIS
    - It would be better for the splitting services at Eastbourne to go up to the buffer stop andthen in Part 2 have them split and train draw forwards.

    I have left feedback on the route on the remaster feedback.

    Fully agree re announcements and PIS. The PIS on the 377/3 almost never works and is really poor compared to the Medway and London Commuter version PIS. And the announcements were working fine until just recently. Interestingly enough on the class 377/3 if you used it on London to Brighton in scenario planner it would announce every station on the route too so they recorded many more for it than just the East Coastway. Whether that’s planning in advance for a remastered route I don’t know but it was strange to say the least
