If the developers are as frustrated as us customers are about this situation, or any of the myriad crappy things DTG is doing with TSW and/or their work - is there no way at all to collectively tell DTG to go kick rocks. wishfull thinking i know, but why cant all the third party developers just make their own TSW by another name, and litterally tell DTG to go and expletive themselves

Or buy it, if it’s not up to par then refund it ASAP.

Stop giving them money for substandard quality.

 

Playstation in their infinite wisdom are declining refunds so?????

I have tried to refund it and instead get a DLC that isnt broken, Sony say no, my only option now is to wait for it to be fixed so i can actually play the thing. ATS and DTG are both radio silent on the whole thing and anyone who paid money for it and cant refund it for what ever reason is left here with their johnsons in their hands

 

I'm a PS4 user, so I can't get this at all.

I think this is 100% true

 

To be fair, the patch fix for what was apparently a wrong build release has been coming imminently for quite some time now.

 

And the statement that was issued made it quite clear to me at least that there were far deeper issues even if the ‘right’ build had been released in the first place.

 

a wrong build can be pushed quickly, look at the MAC's launch. this needing the safety systems completely rewritten as well as needing simugraph redone means it was more serious than just "whoopsie, wrong build" - seeing as this would have become apparent pretty quickly, any kind of update between the launch and the almost two months of silence would have been amazing.

At least theyve given an actual date - June 16th, along withg the UK core updates - so theyre committed now, its locked in.

i think this too. yes, it's a new dlc, but it doesn't come out with any new wagons or anything

 

that isn’t what i meant. new wagons would’ve been nice but my main concerns are with the sounds, broken physics, low res textures, sparse timetable etc

Yes just Milton Keynes to euston route. On its own timetable witch is a dead as the dodo .

I think it'll layer in on the Northern line extension once released.

I've not purchased it yet either for several reasons, lack of layers being one of them.

 

There's a PC mod that lets you sub into the Trent Valley timetable. Obviously not for console but that's not my problem

 

It is mine though. So ATS don't get my money as a result.

I'm sure they will. And yeah Thomas the Tank Engine works great on console, absolutely worth my money.

Just a shame us console players hold the PC master race back though. Still, look on the bright side, No Console players means no TSW, still I'm sure some Mods could be made to make it look like you're having a good time.

 

they’ll survive, of course. but the amount ats have likely not made because of the very limited playability of the 90 may be the difference between whether their next route is, say 30 or 40 miles, and 15 or 20 stations. you can have your timetable mod, but their choices impact everyone in the long run

 

I'm sure it does, but I want to drive proper trains, not a glorified child's toy

 

Have you got a link to download this? I've had a browse on train sim community but could only find a mod to put an IC90 into the shap route
