Hi, I know there’s a mod for real time weather to help with the abysmal fog inducing dynamic weather, earlier, something popper up on my socials for dynamic weather. It said it updates every 15 minutes and would cost £14.99 and is coming soon. Has anyone else seen it, sadly I had scrolled past it before I could get the company name. Hopefully dynamic weather will be up there with poor passenger behaviour on things that will finally be sorted for TSW7 but I won’t hold my breath!
Mods are not allowed to be sold as per the End User License Agreement of Train Sim World, if that's what you were implying with the price. A live weather mod already exists on trainsimcommunity.com with, from what I remember, weather updates every 10 minutes.
I know you can’t sell mods, this was being promoted as a DLC. If it pops up again, I’ll post the link.
Sounds like an odd DLC concept, and 15 bucks for something that has an existing free alternative? Ehhh... "But think about the console players!"
If a weather mod brings a load of different types of cloud, better rain and snow, more believable transitions, less fog and a live weather option too, then I'd pay £25 for it. It would be a great mod. I'd also like to see an environmental DLC pack that introduces new foliage/trees, correct sunrise and sunset times, improves the ambient sound, wind sounds, more accurate birds for the region and even splattered flies on the windscreen in summer. Again it would be worth 25 of my pounds. The trains have to be believable but so does the environment they're driving in.
