Isn’t that just the out of bounds tracks ?. It’s basically just for scenery. Don’t all routes have this sort of thing ??. If you go on free roam you can actually ride down some of the paths you’re not really supposed to go down. It can be very interesting.
I think you are highlighting the off the path scenery, which yes Ive seen plenty since I like to push the limits of the map where I can. It’s not weird scenery though, it’s just the end/off the map. If it’s not seen from the main route, it’s not going to be fully modeled (nor should it).
They're the hidden sections behind the map boundaries in S-Bahn Voralberg, Kassel-Würzburg and Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn. I thought it was an interesting little area that most players never notice. (I used camera mode to find these)
It's actually the local tram lines in this one. I'm not 100% sure if its a layer, but there's quite a lot of trams driving around Mannheim HBF and on the bridge to Ludwigshafen Mitte. If you'd have the God Mode installed there's an option to show all the ''hidden'' tracks on the route map. On some routes there are complete railway lines with no scenery like the Frankfurt S-Bahn tunnel on Frankfurt-Fulda.
