    Hi everyone,
I found what seems to be a softlock on PS5.
I was playing Peak Forest with the LMS Stanier 8F during one of the 1963 services around Gowhole Sidings.

I got off the locomotive to manually couple to a wagon. After interacting with the coupler, my character became trapped between the locomotive and the wagon.

I can still move the camera and interact with the coupler, but I can't walk or get back into the locomotive. The autosave happened while I was stuck, so I lost almost two hours of progress.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Yes, I’ve gotten stuck before. If you saved while stuck, then you’ll probably have to redo the entire service from the start.

It’s one of those things we have to be aware of in this game because getting stuck does happen. I recommend to avoid saving while walking around and to couple from the external cam when possible.

Get a wireless keyboard. Not all of them work with ps5 so do your research first. With a keyboard you can teleport back to your seat if you get stuck. I forgot which key combination is for that but possibly ctrl+0. Google it. Plus, with a keyboard you have fast external camera and bell for us routes. Seriously, such a quality of life improvement.

Up arrow +Shift. It’s awkward with a controller but doable. On the one I have (Arteck univeral backlit slim), both keys are next to each other so i can hold them with my left hand and use the right hand to steer with the right stick holding a controller. As I said, awkward but better than nothing lol.
