    Dear friends of Sodor,

What specific lines or branchlines are looking you forward to?

Or anything special like a harbour, a yard, a junction, a certain station or place?

I'm sure I speak for everyone that were waiting for the Brendam branch line. Along with Henry, Toby.

Yeah I know I was thinking about Edward when I said Brendam. If Brendam is ever added I assume Edward would be added along with it.

One of the top stations I'm looking forward to is Kirk Machan on the Peel Godred line. Even if we don't get the mountain engines, it would be nice to see the Culdee Fell railway at the station as we stop there or pass along by.

Personally I would prioritise new engines over lines. With 6 engines, it's difficult to get the busy railway we experienced in the TV shows and books, there's very little mainline freight and the eastern half of the map in particular feels a bit space. I would therefore concentrate on engines that add more to the mainline, particularly:

    Henry
    Donald & Douglas
    Arthur
    Murdoch
    Bear
    Edward*
    Duck and Oliver*.

Thomas's branch is pretty well served, but Daisy and Toby would enhance them further.

*Obviously these have their own branches so may be more likely to come with that if extensions are to come. But I'd take any without an extension as none would look out of place in the Knapford/Tidmouth area.

Wouldn't it be more logical if they would make the Brendam-line first and connect it through to Arlesbrugh or Harwick (little western)?

Then the new engines would make more sence.

Because some of them are not really mainline engines

Maybe, but as much as I'd like to see Edward and the Western engines, I'd rather they built on what they have before extending it. I feel like Henry is such a natural choice for the next DLC, being clearly a mainline engine and a core character.

If it's not a new branchline next, then I'd rather this too. Each branchline might start with one or two engines each which will feel small if those engines only run on those branches, but the Mainline and Ffarquhar exist. Mavis would add nicely to Ffarquhar (I don't know if Harwick will be tied to Daisy or if Toby's TV branch is coming with him).
For the Mainline, there's a good selection who could fill out the long distance: Henry, Bear, Pip & Emma, Murdoch, Hiro, Rebecca...

As I said before too, custom timetables would make things better. If we do get Bear, then you can give Gordon's "Limited" service to him. With additional guest engines such as Flying Scotsman and Stepney, you could add D199 to Bear's DLC.

As a bonus which I forgot to mention, that custom timetable would allow us to set AI jobs for Thomas, Percy and Diesel along the Mainline.

I would love for the narrow guage section to be included.
