Maybe but they've been ignoring posts in this forum for much longer than that unlike the more professional outfits like JT, AABS and Firefly who seem to take great pride in addressing their customers issues and comments. A great pity I can't buy their content without DTG taking a cut as I don't want to reward DTG's abysmal customer service.

Also some more issues that I saw but forgot to include photographic proof:
    • There’s a large stretch of floating track south of Cookham, as well as other bits of floating track throughout the route (I forgot the other locations…)
    • The interior for the 165 is wrong for the set time period of 2017. At that time, no GWR 165s carried a GWR interior - the interior on all of the 165s at the time were all the First Great Western interior (with pink interior doors) according to real life images from 2017.
    • On the under frame of the 165 there are some stickers mentioning “air conditioning”, of which at the time the 165s did not have air conditioning
    • There’s a weird bug with the collisions of the interior of the 165 - with the luggage compartment at one end of the train the collisions still feel like that there are seats there, of which there aren’t in reality on that side
    • The unit numbers on the outside of the cabs of the 165 (i.e. 165122) are too large, too bold and are in the wrong place. They need to be smaller, non-bold and raised a bit higher to be closer to the top as per real life pictures of the real units :)

Not sure if this is logged already but i ran a 165 service on GWE after the service i walked around and took another service over. The 165 had a random fault and i continued to hear the engine stall warning light click in the cab of the HST i was now driving.

TPWS needs looking at as I don’t think it’s been set up correctly, should trigger if your above 10mph/15mph not 8mph as it is simulated

I was told by a GWR guard that 8mph is correct for the branchlines. Will therefore keep it at 8mph

passenger behaviour has always been tricky on TSW. Might just be a simple tweak to the platform boundary.

If the timetables were separate then fast travel from one branch to another would take you to an empty branch with no trains running. It all needs to be one timetable for the route to function. Further to that, there’s no need to separate the timetables.

    ... for what it's worth ...

    IMG_2026.07.26-19.44.09.jpg
South of Cookham (i think): This fence could do with some adjusting :)

    Route Hopping:
I can confirm all the route hopping nodes to GWE work both ways as intended. The only comment I can make is, it's a shame you couldn't add the token shed to Twyford station on the GWE route (just as a plain scenery item). This would have helped the continuity of nearby objects when hopping between the two routes.

    Mainline views at Twyford:
Johannes, while these issues are not deal-breakers for me personally, I just wanted to add the pictures below to show the difference between your Twyford and GWE's Twyford in relation to what the player sees...
    twyford_view_west.jpg
Looking East: You can see some brick viaducts are missing (may help in hiding odd scenery in the distance).

    twyford_view_east.jpg
Looking West: Horizon/"end of scenery" clearly visible. Maybe you could add some more trees lineside into the distance.

    Final thoughts:
Firstly, I must thank Liam (GrumpDog Games) for such a wonderful remaster of GWE. It was the first DLC I purchased separately after acquiring TSW6 Deluxe Edition. I had played many hours on the original GWE, but now with the TOD4 lighting, busier timetable, extra train layers and everything it is awesome.

Which leads me to thank you Johannes, for such a neat add-on DLC to an already wonderful route. Thanks for addressing the scenery issues (I'm sure you've done what you can in that regard). Keep an eye on those player clipping plane boundaries ;)

I can't wait to see your extension to the Mildmay Line.
    Regards.

I've actually quite enjoyed being able to pick up this route and have a few very quick plays when I have not been on TSW for a while but also don't have much time.

Xbox - I've just route hopped from Thames Branches to GWE from Slough station and was deposited halfway down the Windsor branch line, at the end of the accessible area

Edit. I’ve just noticed I was actually deposited on the Marlow Branch, not Windsor. I’ll try it again later to see if I get the same result.

Question why is it on the Marlow branch you only get a services between bourne end and Marlow between 4pm and 8pm. Nothing runs from Maidenhead to Bourne end.

I seem to remember someone saying that at peak times they run separate trains just from Bourne End to Marlow or Maidenhead to increase capacity as it enables more journeys to be made.
Must be annoying to get from Marlow to London (or vice versa) at that time as you'll have to change twice.

A while back I did Windsor & Eton Central to Marlow in rush hour for a short spell while my car was off the road.
Change at Slough, change at Maidenhead, change at Bourne End.
The trick was to be in the front coach at Maidenhead and Marlow, short hop walk round to the next train.
You don't miss your connection as the other train always waits.

Most of it is still going to the 3P developers you know, and it helps them in their continuing efforts. So if you value their work, DTG taking a cut would be a small price to pay.

After completing the Regatta scenario, passengers on this route and on GWE continued to be clothed in that colourful attire. Only after rebooting the game they wore their normal clothes again.

    Hi
incrediblehannes, I have identified an issue regarding the 165. This is relating to the GWE route. The 165 from Thames valley seems to have changed the formations of the 166/165 trains. Before, you would see 5 car/ 6 car. Now, you see more 2 car / 3 car 166/165s. Is there a possibility that this issue can get addressed

The creator of the Thames Valley Branches DLC has put a great deal of effort into beautifully recreating the scenery. I don’t understand why the garishly bright route-hopping markers haven’t been discreetly hidden behind some element of the scenery so that they’re only visible to someone who wants to use them. Instead, they’ve been placed in the most prominent locations, glaringly catching the eye every time we pull into Twyford, Maidenhead and Slough stations.

For some reason, the route-hopping markers are the only element of the TSW6 interface that players cannot disable. This makes it all the more important for the creators of DLC routes to ensure they are placed discreetly within the scenery, so as not to spoil the sense of immersion.

If TSW7 still has no option to hide those markers, I’m probably going to get banned from the forum because I will be kicking off. Two years I’ve had to put up with them spoiling the view and they breed like randy Daleks and are popping up everywhere ruining more and more stations.
