The Málaga–Córdoba High-Speed Line is an 81 mile high speed railway in southern Spain that connects Málaga with Córdoba. Opened in 2007, it forms part of Spain's AVE high-speed network, allowing trains to travel at speeds of up to 300 km/h (186 mph) and providing fast links between Malaga and other cities in Spain

This Route brings in a similar style to Kassel - Wurzburg seen in TSW3, where it is a long, lengthy high speed track, and only a few stations along the way.

    SAFETY SYSTEMS:

    ERTMS (Level 2)
This Route would bring the ERTMS Safety Systems into TSW for the first time. It uses digital radio (GSM-R) for in-cab signal displays, completely removing physical signals, making for a unique driving experience.

    ASFA
transmits trackside signal data to trains via inductive balises, alerting drivers and applying emergency brakes if safety limits or restrictive signals are ignored. Similar to how AWS works in the UK.

    ROLLING STOCK:

    RENFE CLASS 102 (NEW)

Nicknamed "Pato" or "Duck" for its distinctive nose resembling the beak of a duck, the Renfe Class 102 would be a new train on this route, constructed in 2005 by a partnership with Talgo and Bombardier, these trains are the most iconic and the most important high speed rolling stock in Spain.

    RENFE CLASS 103 (modified)

The Renfe Class 103 is a Spanish High Speed train built by Siemens in 2007. This Train is very similar looking to the German ICE3 seen already in TSW, but with differences.

The Renfe 103 has a much beefier setup than the ICE3 running at 8,800KW of power, compared to 8,000KW on the ICE3

    THE STATIONS:

    MALAGA MARIA ZAMBRANO
    ANTAQUERA A.V
    SANTA ANA
    PUENTE-GENIL-HERRERA
    AND CORDOBA

    SCENERY:

The Line Itself features a mix of the beautiful spanish countryside, mountainous range and desert, passing on massive viaducts over the valleys at 300kph, making this a very similar style to Kassel - Wurzburg.

    WHY THIS ROUTE?
    - Introduces a brand new country to TSW, Spain!
    - New Operator to the Game - Renfe
    - Brings in a large range of scenery landscapes, from deserts, to mountain ranges to countryside and cities.

    PRICE:

Due to this being a new country to TSW, having such a wide variety of scenery landscapes, and the addition of a new high speed train, and a heavily modified one, the appropriate price for a route like this could be £32.99

    Thanks all for viewing!

modern highspeed trains, hell yeah :) ... we definitely need Spain in this game, hopefully when the Portuguese route arrives, it will see some success and more Portuguese and Spanish content... I mean, doesnt Spain have like one of the most extensive highspeed networks in the world? :)

I’d take absolutely any Spanish line at this stage but this is a great suggestion.
