Todays Updates

It just feels like its more hard work to find thread now then ut was before.

 

Essentially all they did was removed the offtopic section, which as someone already said was the least offending. Plus now, I need more clicks to navigate everywhere

 

Yesterday there was a 1 MB update on Steam, today there's another 1 MB update. Interesting

 

Yeah I noticed. It's possible they were updates to Ludwigsbahn's TT to make space for CL6 services

 

Yes, they released an update for the Ludwigsbahn yesterday, and then another one today as well.

 

Yesterday that was for sure more than 1mb, its was 150mb for the missing Mannheim Kaiserslautern update. I have found out this weekend that this update was missing last week so the team pushed this update yesterday and it was around 150mb on steam and it was steam only.

 

I don't have it, so for me it was 1 MB.

 

I have power up my pc now and you say you have 2 times 1mb download.....

I have this for today on steam so 1mb for both situations sounds strange:

 

I don't see anything strange. We most likely have different set of content installed. It's just that in my case, they were identical size updates, which piqued my curiosity. It looked like they were patching the same file.

 

Its only an update for Mannheim Kaiserslautern so it's not possible that there is a difference. You can check that on steamdb

 

The update size depends on your content; I had also 1MB of update because I don't have Mannheim

 

Yes, that could well be the case, because even if only one DLC gets an update, the base game gets an update too.
That’s why you only had 1 MB.

Every time there are updates for DLCs, the base game is automatically updated as well.

 

Any news about the delayed updates for the Niddertalbahn and Mittenwaldbahn. It seems very quit.

Well today's updates were very underwhelming i have to say.

 

Yeah, also after what happened with the 805 (can't remember if also with 807) where buttons were essentially deleted I'm wary when they say they've optimised some trains/locos

 

I thought the tvb route would have been updated

 

Mastery updates are not a patch to the game itself, but to the dovetail live website. It will probably follow after the websites are updated.

It's been a while since I've been on both MAC and East Coastway routes but I decided to give both a run today and station announcements have gone totally missing on BOTH routes - don't know which so called *update* has caused this because as I say, been a while since I've ventured on both routes

 

Today's update was only to the website, and it a downgrade instead of an upgrade

 

I love the new website design and new logo of dovetail live, it gives it a more "recent" look.

I also like the addition of the creator club to our profile; I find it quite practical, I'm also happy that one of my photos was chosen

 

At least it works properly, like not having to wait multiple minutes to load screens.

 

Its not very mobile phone friendly. How do you get into my mastery section it cant find it.

 

they went awol months ago and there’s been no word from dtg, ats or rivet on if they’ll be fixed

 

When I log in on my phone, this is the first screen I see:

 

When I log in the NEWS is underlined and a puzzle is displayed

 

However, I noticed that it's not possible to log in to the Creator Club website. It redirects me to a "404 - Page Not Found" page.

 

The wrong thumbnail is used for Crewe-Preston.

Aside from that, I'm enjoying the new look so far.

 

So it now impossible to know if there is a mastery, if there is to know what it is, what the progress on it are

There is a button with which you can switch between the tiled view and the classic view

Yeah works properly doesn't it.......

Notice the My Creations section and i supposedly don't have any CC content uploaded???? Then when I click on the View All button.......... It displays correctly.

 

Was like this from the beginning and also reported already

Quick question, how do you delete online photos

 

Go to photo section -> Click on the photo and at the bottom you will see "Delete"
