I would like to see the release of a route where collisions with people, vehicles, and the like do not occur.
As I mentioned in another thread regarding the WCMLS, I experience a collision every single time at Platform 6 of Harrow Station.
It is a truly frustrating experience.

No, I think Waterloo to Reading is plausible, but the 701 (ordered by SWR) and a GBR livery wouldn't be :)

    Desired Route possibilities:

    Brighton to Southampton Central
    Southampton Central to Weymouth
    London Waterloo to Southampton Central

Charing Cross/Canon Street to Dartford (connects with Southeastern High Speed) Add City beam to existing Class 465.

    Reading to Exeter via Newbury

GBR "Anglia" livery was officially launched at Liverpool Street yesterday with stars of the show being 357008/020 & 720501/144.

If we're to have a licenced GBR product (and I think it's likely at some point soon) then GBR Anglia is ready to welcome TSW.

707s are entirely possible via the 700 you’re quite right

Boy i really do we get a ECML extension or even a class 91 for TSW7. I noticed a pattern with UK high speed routes. Remember when the south eastern high speed got released in tsw 2? it got an extension as the flagship route for tsw3 . this was the same with GWE it was introduced in tsw but later got a new part of the route in tsw6 for the games flagship uk Route. With the WCML it was introduced in tsw5 and later got an extension in train sim world 6. With the ECML being released in TSW4 don't you think it is time for an ECML extension as it hasn't received anything since tsw 4. There also seems to be a habit of dovetail extending high speed routes and ive noticed a pattern so who knows we could get an ECML extension.

The ideal route would be London Kings X to Peterborough with playable class 700 services between Kings X and Peterborough aswell as class 387 services between Kings X and Hitchin. Dovetail could also try and get hull trains license and rebrand GWR class 802 livery and put a hull trains livery on the same with lumo aswell. i was thinking if this was the flagship route for tsw7 then the Class 91 could come in for a deluxe edition locomotive. Many people have been wanting a 91 since the release of train sim world 4. It feels a bit weird just stopping the ecml at doncaster so maybe an extension to leeds or york maybe in newcastle would be great.

We have almost all the rolling stock (801, 387, 700) and if add the CL717 (Hertford Loop Line) and CL91 to the deluxe version of the TSW7, we get an awesome British route

I dont think DTG can port TSW to UE5. Especially considering backward compatibility with older DLCs.
Also I dont think we can see MP any years soon in TSW series.
Emm what's more likely maybe more accurate simulation of ETCS? But ETCS EVC and wayside system itself is basically a standalone system besides the game core.
Maybe some more niche part of the world? More Asian/Mid/Eastern europe contents? With some new CCS?

I want to draw attention to a feature request I made a few months ago with regards to "reactive" PWAY and track workers.

My suggestion involved painting a radius around each PWAY NPC, this radius would be considered a horn activation zone and if you blast your horn within the zone they'll raise an arm above their head as an acknowledgement of the approaching driver.

Random work crews out in the wild that spawn at a handful of pre determined locations to encourage you to pay attention to what's ahead. Maybe a late notice feature could give a rough idea of where these crews are operating at the start of a service.

It received the Old Vern seal of approval but I think I posted it at a time that caused a lot of people that would be in support of such feature to miss the thread, I think the birds from Thames valley branches are a prime example of this being somewhat possible.

Another thing I suggested was upgrading the TSR event,
    This would include,
-Line Unevenness would be temporarily edited via track properties on the fly. You'll bounce around a lot more in the TSR zone. Indicating that the track isn't fully set but still usable. Maybe jointing the track on that section to enhance the effect.
-The new system would add relevant equipment nearby too as well as PWAY staff. (Generators, railway tool boxes, floodlights RRVs etc)
-Randomised TSR speed based on what is being done in the area. It would have to make sense and bare relevance to how invasive the maintenance is.
Logic here is if they can tell the game to place the warning and T boards already for TSRs, It can place any object.

One more thing while I'm here.
-Random (very rare) railway emergency group calls / general emergency stops via gsmr.

Thanks for the read folks and hopefully we can get a good brain storm going.

    Just a question.

Apart from walking around the station, I spend 99% of my time in TSW sat in the driver's seat, and as such I'm only concerned with what the driver can see. I know however, that some people like using the flying cam to go look at streets or buildings miles away from the track or to take new pictures/screenshots. However, presumably all these assets I don't look at, are still using up memory and contributing to the size of the DLC.

What if two downloads were offered. A) Driver's Eye View (it only downloads the scenery within limits decided by the developer, and scenery only the driver would see - not downloading all the other stuff. And B) a Full Download, for everyone else that wants the ability to roam and fly and go miles away.

    Does that make sense?

Not really. It just ruins the official reveals as everyone knows what’s coming. It’s always better it being a surprise.

We’ve already had one route spoiled so far. Atleast we still don’t know if it’s a third party making this route or if it’s DTG yet.

I don't want to know what routes are included until I fire up the game for the first time, official reveals ruin the surprise.

Jimothy is a racoon with no spine based in Seattle so that might be worth a punt for the American pick

It’s much better than knowing everything that’s coming before you’re supposed to even know about it. Games have been really bad for this in recent years. I personally just hate it. If people do share leaks then atleast make it a spoiler post so those who do want to wait until the official reveal don’t know about it before. I was a bit annoyed to see the UK route get posted on here with no spoiler tag attached to it.

    I have to agree here...

Although I was personally aware of the leaks, since I have found out careful that I've been sure not to mention them directly, only to say "I know what they are" and nothing more so I did not spoil or ruin anyone elses excitement or anticipation.

It's cool for about 5 minutes knowing leaked DLC, but it does put a bit of a dampener on the anticipation build up. Although I will say, those who did know and put spoiler warnings on their post have managed to balance things for those who do want to know and those that don't won't to know, and that's much appreciated.

True but wouldn’t it be even better if you waited until it was the official reveal ??. I just feel leaks are for impatient people. I used to like leaks at first but after a short while I started hating it. It’s like if you are a child and you see your parents wrapping your presents infront of you. You know what’s in them. Even if it’s a present you have always wanted. As sierra oscar basically pointed out you’ll be excited for a short while and then when the day does come the excitement has been dumbed down because you already know you have it. You don’t have that “what if it is, what if it isn’t” excitement and anxiety going on in your head.

It seems to be a competition for some to know info 1st.

I suspect they are the same people who tried to find their Christmas presents before they are wrapped as well.

The difference compared to a present is that, in any case (leak or official announcement), you'll know which route it is before you can play it. :|

Its August today, meaning that we are now in the month of the direct.

    We're in the endgame now.

    23 days to go.
