Okay, first, this route has been already been suggested a lot before by others and those other suggestions have gone into a lot more detail.

Some firm but friendly advice, you need to put way more detail into your submissions if you would like to get any constructive feedback, and have any hope of DTG thinking of making your submission. Include motive power, services, a map of the route, timetable layers, like the first reply on this thread, the class 700 is already in the game, albiet only the 8car varient, if you're talking about adding the 12car variant, I completely agree. But a full London Kings Cross to Peterborough route with just Thameslink services would look way too empty. You need to think about other motive power, what other operaters are there on this part of the ECML, because it most certainly isn't just Thameslink.

The most common operater you'll see on the London to Peterborough section has to has to be LNER, with other operaters consisting of Great Northern, Thameslink as you've stated, Grand Central and Lumo, what motive power of those operates would you like to be inlcuded and what could be add-ons?

Or for an add-on, like on Peterborough to Doncaster, a hertiage locomotive for railtours could be made as an add-on, like A1 No. 60163 Tornado or A4 No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, or even some of the mainline certified Class 55 'Deltics'.

Point is you need to include more detail in your suggestions

Not to be toxic or anything but, If you think DTG will just listen to this and magic this thing up without careful stages of planning and work then you have got to be joking...
Gotta put more detail in is what I am saying...

Really? Okay, firstly, the Peterborough to Doncaster section already exists in game which alone is 79 miles, London to Peterborough is 90 miles and the Doncaster to York section (which has no intermediate station stops or yards, therefore wouldn't be a fun route at all) is 27 miles. If you seriously think a 196 mile long route is possible in TSW, then you clearly know very little about the game.

Agree, I wouldn't mind an extension of the existing LNER to York and Leeds with a Class 91 and a sprinkling of HSTs. I think that would be achievable. But if they're visiting the ECML it really needs to be a more interesting, busier section with a variety of trains and services. So London to Peterborough would make the most sense but it would be an asset-heavy, busy route which might cause some of your machines to burst into flames, possibly mine too.

Can't ever see London to York or York to Edinburgh being one DLC.

Général De Gaulle used to say La vieillesse est un naufrage (which can probably be translated as "old age is a wreck")... that's why I'd really like to get a taste of something substantial before hitting rock bottom ! :D
