question...xbox will release update in 2027 for FSR 4.1 for consoles i think sony for ps5 as well. will that improve things like blurry textures and some issues for dtg or dose tsw take any fsr advantage at all.
Not a chance ATM the TSW on PC doesnt even have upscalers like DLSS/FSR/XESS so unless it gets added full stop no. Also the consoles deal with upscallers differently than PC, on PC it is typically a dll that gets loaded but on consoles it linked library meaning that the upscallers code gets put into the executable which this requires games code to be different depending on whether its dll or linked library, see 007 First Light and the FSR issues there.
Dynamic Link Library, gonna be honest not sure why i capitalise it, i specified static linked libraries because from my experience most people have an idea what a dll is but not lib

I don't think it would help the blurry textures but it would undoubtedly improve performance. I've never tried FSR but I use Quality DLSS in a few games and it's 95% as good looking as the native resolution with much better performance.
Base PS5 most likely will never get FSR 4.1, as it not has the full RDNA2 feature set. PS5 Pro does have the full feature set, but has already PSSR, so is Sony gonna put the effort in it to support both PSSR and FSR 4.1? TSW has no support for FSR at all and I don't know if it's even possible to get FSR 4.1 working in UE4. It's even an older version of UE4.
