Does it matter? Many Dutch 3rd party routes exists which are free and are at least of the same quality, often better quality, than what DTG comes up with.
AFAIK the only Payware Dutch trains are Chris Trains and he only does TSC. DTG would have to find other makers for building a fleet of Dutch trains There is a thread on the Dutch Forums https://dutchsims.nl/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4164 The TSW route from Zwolle to Groningen only has two different units. Freight Layers are included but they require 3 or 4 additional Payware items
There was a Dutch payware TSC route in development. I even saw screenshots, but there has been no news for six months
So, announced in May 2025, and supposed to be released later that year. I think we can safely declare it dead then.
So why are the Dutch Forum people still talking about it with Screenshots from July of this year? The latest post is from a " British developer of routes in TSC" His first and only post on the Dutch Forum having a go at DTG
I guess for the same reason people on this forum still discuss TSW 7 like it is going to be meaningfully different than TSW 6...
It was going to be made with the German third party Jasksoft. They have announced a east german route about 15 years ago and never finished it. Apparently it´s still in production until this day. It was completly rebuilt a few years ago, because the original route was just too old for TSC standards. They are known for waggons mostly and they made a more modern rework of the Rübelandbahn. Besides that, they have not delievered much on route promises in the past.
