Xbox PC [resolved] Tsw6 No Longer Works Following Game Update: Solved. Something Updated

As the title says, the other day I got a ‘this title needs an update’ notif when I started the game. The trouble is, it gets to 100% and stays stuck at ‘Downloading’.
After much frustration, I tried repairing: that didn’t work. Tried completely uninstalling TSW6 and reinstalling it to a different drive. I finally got the base game to work, but all 43 addons just refuse to reinstall, they get to 100% ie completely finished downloading but refuse to move from that state. I’m trying them individually to see if it was an issue with one DLC. Nothing again.

Having completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled to a different drive to another SSD, still none of my addons will get past ‘Downloading 100%’

Is there somewhere within ‘my documents’ that needs deleting so it can remove all trace of it? And if there is, does anyone know what files and where they are? All was working fine until a few days ago. I think the update was for a loco rather than a route.
Any help very gratefully received. Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.

My documents is by default synced with OneDrive, when OneDrive is enabled. So you can try to kill OneDrive and see if it works.

SOLVED: Either XBox Windows app got updated or TSW6 did, but everything now works. Thank you very much for your help though. Much appreciated.

 

Glad to know it works now. From what I hear and read, the Xbox app and store on PC has quite a few issues, so I guess it was the Xbox app.
