I've also noticed another bug; I can't log in directly to the forum using the forum "Login/Register" button. I have to log in via the Dovetail Live site , go back to the forum website, click on the "Login/Register" button for it to work. Edit : It looks like it's been resolved.
That’s quite funny. It’s like nobody checked how the formatting would affect older articles. Some articles seem to show the top image fine, while others have them chopped into a banner like this. I wonder if they’ll fix it.
Thanks for the comments folks - I think it's unfair to say that nobody is checking the sizing, it's more the way we use the platform works under different systems which is having non-ideal results. Typically, our header images used to use images in full, so we don't need to re-copy them into the articles. It seems that they're now being folded into the headers. Working with the team to see if we can adjust the sizing here potentially.
DTG Alex Why was it decided that when you open live.trainsimworld.com you immediately land on your own status page? Personally, I find it much more logical to go straight to the news page. I don’t care at all about my profile. I don’t know what others think, but maybe there are more people who feel the same way? I basically only visit this site to read the news. I check my mastery status in the game anyway. If there’s any doubt, perhaps a poll would be a good way to see whether there’s a majority in favour of that.
As user experiences go, going to the designated home page is the right course, and this is what it does. Personally I don't go to it for news as I see the announcements on this forum and on Discord, so seeing the profile and mastery first is far more useful to me.
the only part that is of any real use it the MASTERY for the NEWS, well just stick here, people are always complaining about new DLC way before they are even annonced or release
So fresh week are we getting any patches/updates. I think not all care about now is dovetail direct and beyond.
I highly doubt it, depending how far off from Direct the actual TSW7 release date is set. Tadami has gone back to square one it seems and we can only assume anything else in the pipeline the devs have been told to polish it up for TSW7 as TSW6 will no longer be supported.
In the last few releases there’s been a fixed four‑week gap between them. So there’s barely any time to do anything, and I honestly don’t expect that to change. New updates will arrive with the new game. It’s been very quiet in terms of update news anyway, so I’m not expecting much more on that front. The real question is whether DTG even considers it worthwhile to release anything else for TSW6 at this point.
Actually, DTG should release the updates they’ve had for a long time, and the ones for TSW 6 DLCs should also be released for TSW 6. After all, if DTG were to release these updates only with TSW 7, that would be unfair to TSW 6 customers. Users who have decided to stick with TSW 6 – and who won’t be downloading the free update to TSW 7 – have, after all, purchased the TSW 6 DLCs, so naturally they would also like to receive the updates for TSW 6.
