With all the enhancements coming to PC, where the console issues lay on, because for example the PS5 Pro uses PSSR, a technology that could help with better performance, and we’ve still not see it. Thank you

 

I was under the impression that the class 70 and mildmay extension where ready to be released.

 

Hi, is the postponed Tadami Line now part of TSW7?

 

• Will the 801 included with the Airedale and Wharfedale network be upgraded with newer TSW features (guard mode and announcements, for example), or will it be straight copy-pasted from TSW4?
• If it is upgraded can I use it in place of the old one on Peterborough - Doncaster?
• Is the NTP remaster free with the 37 (with a busier timetable) an optional extra like East Coastway and the 171/377/3 pack?
• What's the stand out features of this 37 compared to the Tees Valley and West Cornwall 37? How does it differ?
• Why so vague about ATS' King's Cross route? Just saying ECML King's Cross doesn't exactly fill one with much confidence, especially after the Alderley Edge debacle.

 

I only play UK routes now, so will you be releasing regional editions as you have done previously?

 

Think it got mentioned in the stream,the regional ones would be available after the five day early access.
Same as you Phil , I'm just going for the UK routes from now on.

 

The Free Edition has "Core Rolling Stock" listed as included, and it's a pretty large list of freight cars (and UK/DE passenger cars as well). Is this an optimization step to lower the need for mounted DLCs in layers? If so, is there potential/plan to expand this if successful and have core-layering locos (like the ones in the training center, just in correct colors), maybe even completely detach trains and mount them from the core in the future to save memory usage?

 

- Has audio ‘looping’ been fixed for TS7

 

Will the new features, especially live weather and improved passenger behaviour, be implemented on all existing routes or only the new (TSW 7 onward) ones?

Speaking of new features: Are there any plans to implement TSW6 features like TSR's on older routes at some point?

Since Nürnberg-Würzburg includes a 442 in S-Bahn Nürnberg livery, will this one replace the one currently used on SFS Nürnberg-Ingolstadt?

 

How long do you expect it to take for the game to be playable on Steam via GeForce Now when TSW 5&6 are already available?

 

- Does the BR 401 and 442 on Nürnberg-Würzburg will get Announcements, Faults, etc...
- On which routes does the BR 412 layers on? Only Nürnberg-Ingolstadt or more?

 

Will the dangerous passenger behaviors still observed on many routes—such as crossing the tracks, walking along the platform edge right next to the train, or hovering in mid-air like a ghost all day and colliding with the train during gameplay—be addressed?
Also, could you please implement improvements for existing routes as well, such as the WCMLS?

 

Question:

For Xbox Series X players, the blurry/missing textures after longer sessions and the crashes that can occur on certain routes are still a major concern in TSW6.

Can you give us some concrete information about what has been done in TSW7 to improve this? Specifically, have the underlying issues with texture streaming/memory management and crashes on Xbox Series X been addressed?

I would really like to pre-order TSW7, but these issues are currently the main reason I'm hesitant. I don't want to pre-order and then end up with the same blurry textures and crashes again. Can you give Xbox Series X players some reassurance that TSW7 will provide a more stable experience?

 

A few more from me;

• Will the AI guard door controls and auto turn safety systems on back date to old DLC?
• Will the Northern 158 just slot into the default timetable on Airedale?
• Will the Northern 158 be available to use on MAC as opposed to the out of place Scotrail 158?

 

After dismissing route bound achievements last year, this year you're taking away route bound masteries as well. Any plans on compensating this? This is the second loss of attraction to play routes of any foreign areas

 

Why does the Ultimate Edition (in addition to having the Deluxe version of TSW7) only include the Deluxe version of TSW6, when before it was "randoms" DLC who were not related to each other? Is it because TSW 6 had too much DLC from third parties ?

 

Is screen mode fixed for PS5 in TSW 7?

 

So I notice a lack of screenshots with the new routes upcoming, will they be coming before the roadmap stream, after the roadmap stream, before the preview streams, when is a rough timeline we can expect to see that?

 

Will alot ot people who use mid range PC's need to upgrade to use the epic setting. I only have an RTX3070 and intel core i7 12700k with 32gb ddr4 ram?

For the Florida route, why was Amtrak excluded? TSW has been around for almost 10 years and we do not have a GE P42DC loco which would fit into this route

3. More details on the NJT Bergen line route? Will we see Metro North variants of the Comet V? Where does the route end? My guesses are Suffern yard

4. Leaks going around of Port Jefferson on YouTube. Did this pertain to LIRR for a future route potentially as it was spotted in the editor?

5. Will we see improvements to stuttering on routes?

6. Have any new 3rd parties for the USA joined?

 

And to add: will the ICE 4 layer on other routes? Like Nurnberg-Ingolstadt?

 

The only cards that can use this Epic mode are the 4070(ti)(super) 4080(ti)(super) 4090 and equal 5000 series.

Will Console players have access to Live Weather?

 

It seems consoles are getting the short end of the straw again.

 

Now you have to add your'e income over the last years and see that the difference is not so extremely huge as it seems like.

 

Yeah its available on console so far i know.... Only the epic preset and DX12 is pc only.

 

Will we get both variance of the 331s and will it layer onto the Doncaster to Peterborough route at Doncaster as ai traffic

 

Will the Atlantic Coast Line: Par - Newquay include the new passing loop which opened earlier this year, enabling a doubling of service frequency?

Will there be separate Saturday/Sunday timetables, especially important for the summer months with the Atlantic Coast Express services from London Paddington.

 

First off a few rhetorical questions for good measure
In TSW7, will the following timetable services finally be fixed so that they can be finished:
- timetable services RB57005 / RE57010 / RE57091 on HMA
- timetable services G6-SH04 / G6-SH05 on RRO
- timetable service 6Z60 on Londen underground
In TSW7, will the screen with the total number of services / total number of finished services finally work again? Since mid TSW5 (!) it comes up as 00/00. Come on DTG, this can't be hard to correct, can it?
in TSW7, will the mess that is HMA finally be fixed? I'm reffering to the problem that the pzb magnets don't lign up with the signals, causing green signals to have active 1000hz magnets on them.
In TSW7 will touchscreen MFD's finally work on consoles in zoom mode?
In TSW7 will the PZB/LZB scoring bug finally be fixed? Certain trains (I believe the Vectron and 101) on certain routes (sorry, do'nt know them by heart) have the bug that, while LZB and PZB are both turned on, when going into an LZB section, the game suddenly thinks PZB is switched off and therefore only awards you 35 point iso the full 65.

That's all for the rhetorical questions, I assume the answer for all will be a resounding 'no'.

A few other questions:
- Live weather: very glad to see this coming to the game. It was already a thing for pc players via mods, but this will make it available for us console players as well. Will this feature work on all routes? Or only on new TSW7 routes? I hope the answer is all routes.
- Regional bundles: I don't see any at the moment... Will there be regional bundles? And will those be for one country only? Or will there be bundles for all combinations? Eg: I would be in the market for the deluxe versions of the German and the UK route, I have no interest in the US stuff. Will there be a deluxe bundle for that combination?
- Yearly re-download of all DLC. Because you give us a new game every year, we have to re-download all our DLC each year. For people with slow internet connection like me, this is a very big pain in the backside. I assume it will be the same this year? I heard Train Sim Society talk about this on his Youtube channel a few weeks back. He said this topic came up during a discord Q&A session a while ago. He told us Alex said he had big news on that, but that he wasn't allowed to share it yet. So I was kinda hoping that the Dovetail Direct would mention something about it, but it didn't. Is there any more news on this topic?

 

Regional editions are available after the official release. So you have to wait.

 

Will there be any improvements down the line to address the problems with the dispatcher handling higher traffic routes? NY to Stamford was one of the worst offenders with constantly having to manually remove stuck AI trains (some of which would not even be identified as “off path”). I’ve seen it suggested elsewhere that it would be nice to provide an option where stuck trains are automatically deleted after a certain time period to at least keep things flowing before it hurts player immersion.

 

Will there be any news on the possibility of the class 90 layering in anywhere else?

IIRC Matt said in the stream that our existing content will crossover. Does this imply that we will not have to re-download all our existing add-ons? Because doing so takes an awful long time.

 

Yes you have to re-download everything as every new TSW version.

 

Are we gonna get anymore patches for routes/locos in TSW 6.

 

What happened to the Class 70 by All Aboard Studios? It's gone from the roadmap, but seemed pretty far in development last time we heard about it.

Also would be nice to know what the plans are regarding the DB BR 420. That too looked almost finished and was announced to be released in the 3 months window this time around last year. It's still on the roadmap, but after another year of no progress, it reminds me of the BR Class 104 which was put down after years of no progress at all on the roadmap. I know Maik told us he's not working on it for his own reasons. That was around half a year ago. I respect his decision, but after 6 months, a new iteration of the game and it still/again being on the roadmap it would be appreciated to know what the plans with this DLC are. If it's dead, then please just pull the plug on it, I don't like false hopes.

 

I see Steam does not presently offer the Ultimate Edition? (I'm interested to see its price when compared to the Deluxe Edition)

 

1. Is there an option for Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation(automatic frame generation only at low FPS values)?
2. What about stutters - did DX12 help with them in any way?
3. Initially, enabling the DX12 significantly increased VRAM consumption. How is this situation now?
4. Does DX12 affect in-game audio? Will we get less stuttering and better faded sounds?
5. Why can't you release a patch for TSW6 that will turn it into TSW7? Have you made any progress on finding a solution for re-downloading the entire collection annually?
6. Why are you so hung up on the "mystery"? Everyone knew there would be a TSW7 since TSW3 was announced.
7. Why can't you turn off the fog when it's overcasting? If I need fog, I'll turn it on myself. By setting the overcast weather, for some reason you give us fog for free.
8. Why do Deluxe locomotives always come without new cars? Like ALP-45 without Comets. GP49H without Bombardier.
9. Is the AI conductor totally sane? Can I trust this dude?
10. Live weather will only work with current day, right? If I launch a winter service right now(in August) and set live weather, what will happen?
11. Where is the promised suspension for LIRR?
12. Are you going to fix the incorrect sunrise/sunset time?

 

Are none of the graphic improvements coming to PS5 or PS5 Pro?

J'attend de voir ce que le mode Fret Libre va proposer car c'est ce qu'il manque, j'aime bien les manœuvres longues et complexes que de conduire un train d'un point A à B.
Par contre y'a un truc que je trouve nul, c'est qu'on ne peut pas fusionner les itinéraire comme par exemple en Allemagne. Y'a Wurtzbourg - Kassel sortie sous TSW3, la on n'a Nuremberg-Ingolstadt qui vient de sortir et pour TSW 7: Nuremberg - Wurtzbourg est annoncé, on aurait pu faire de vrai long service en ICE de Ingolstadt à Kassel comme en réalité, dommage...

As we can now have Safety systems turned on by default, how will it affect first-gen UK locos like the Class 47 and Class 86?

 

Are you guys bringing back DLC trophies? It doesnt mean legacy DLCs, but DLCs in the future ?

 

Will the TfW 158 from Birmingham to Shrewsbury be a sub for the 150 on the other Brum routes and MAC?
As I understand it's more accurate than the 150 for longer services into England

 

Still.... to overpriced at least £11.99 for a single route would be decent, not £29.99!
