Although it has a big fast electric mainline in the middle, Preston-Crewe kind of provides this. There's so much industry it has a lot in common with TVL.

Robin Hood Line & Ld & Ecr / East Coast Rail

yes very much same i would like a lot more freight i would like nothing more than to go to a yard pick up my loco collect hoppers then get coal from different colleries and deliver to different power stations

Then return back to yard at end of shift

welbeck colliery to cottam power station
then
welbeck colliery to west burton powerstation
- Then Clipstone colliery to west burton
then Clipstone colliery to cottam power station
each run x9 as one job

i actually suggested something just like this a while ago:

essentially a UK freight route connecting 2 coal pits (Harworth and Maltby) on their own dedicated, freight only branch, that join the Sheffield - Lincoln passenger line passing through Retford, before delivering coal down either the dedicated, freight only branch line to Cottam Power Station, or further up to West Burton Power Station

So alongside a passenger run between Sheffield and Lincoln (or part thereof), the main focus would be connecting two different collieries to two different power stations, creating 4 possible different combinations so it wouldn't get repetitive (Harworth - Cottam; Harworth - West Burton; Maltby - Cottam; Maltby - West Burton)

now that would be my absolute number one route wish, and even though highly unlikely to ever come to TSW, i hope it does show that demand for a dedicated, freight-focused UK route is absolutely out there.

It's not a dedicated freight line, but potentially some routes could be getting "dynamic freight" to unused sidings...maybe...depending on how they implement it.
