Train Sim World 7: Bahnstrecke Nürnberg - Würzburg Q&a Thread

BR 412 ICE 4 (as a separate purchase), BR 440, BR 442, BR 193, Dostos, BR 401 are equipped with functioning suspension or will the DB ICE 401 suffer the same fate as the BR 101 on the Ingolstadt route (which I will NEVER buy!)?

 

1. Which BR 101 will be used for the timetable? The origninal, the expert or the Nürnberg-Ingolstadt version. Personally I would prefer the expert version since it at least has the cab car and some other features that were added since the original came out.

2. Is Nürnberg Rangierbahnhof included?

 

Cutting through the excitement on the stream, for many of us this simply comes across as another cyclostyled inter urban double track electrified red DB experience, of which the game is already awash. So once again the LAMPOIL question - what sells this route, particularly to people outside Germany?

Why do you continue to ignore Berlin - the S-Bahn Riingbahn or Heart (or preferably both) would have secured a deluxe pack early access purchase from me - as would the Moselbahn, Obereruhrtalbahn or Eifelbahn the latter two being diesel secondary main lines?

And what is the real excitement over another ICE, no doubt near silent in the cab, when you could be dropping the magnificent V200 or a 212 in the game?

 

From what i understand here is that you say everyone needs to dislike the route because you dislike it?
Same goes for the ICE 4 which has been the most requested german train by the community for nearly 3 years now.
So who are you talking about if you are saying "many of us"? Coming from discord, many YT videos and reading direct/RM livechat definitely not the overall playerbase.

If you dislike it its fine, but please dont ruin the vibe for everyone who has been waiting for this stuff.

But naturally I am glad you are looking forward to the route and ICE4. Personally then, I just yearn for something a bit different from the German content.

 

Your complaints about DTGs decision making arent much of a question either.
I criticised your statement for trying to show your perspective as the only objective truth. Intended or not.

Ill stay with my opinion, but also respect yours as well as the purpose of this thread as a Q&A and not a discussion.

I find sometimes it helps to set the context of the question with a statement first! But if DTG are unhappy with that they can always edit my post. And yes agree we will leave that aspect there - point taken!

 

Was the development team able to record real sounds for the new EMU 440?

The older German EMUs have sounds that I find truly unacceptable by today's standards. After the 425, I thought things were moving in the right direction, but I was really disappointed with the 430, which was released just over a year ago. To me, it’s barely better than the old 422, which I think has the worst motor sound in the game.

Will the DB BR 440 will sub as AI at Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel Würzburg at Würzburg Hbf too?

 

Will we get the new DB Car Parking House besides Würzburg Hbf.

 

You wrote that the DB BR 412 will get a new timetable for Schnellfahrstrecke Ingolstadt Nürnberg. So will we see the ICE 4 on other existing routes too?

I read that part of the DB Museum at Nürnburg will be walkable and will include some easter eggs.

We could have a static model 420 to represent 420001 parked there next to the mainline like in this 2025 photo, though perhaps without the graffiti

 

Anyone else think this route will struggle on consoles.
