According to my thankfully VRR capable TV the PS5 is often about 52 FPS, I believe the Xbox Series X is a smooth 60 but with lower draw distance.

On PC I can hit the TVs max of 120 but usually run it at 90 as I personally can't tell the difference. I'm currently using whatever the highest settings Jetwash recommends in his mod, which is pretty much the basis for the new epic settings I believe, so it will be nice to get them as default. DLAA should make it even better, and here's hoping DTG can afford a PS5 Pro dev kit some time in the future so they can add PSSR.

No, but my TV does, 52 being a common reading I see on PS5 Pro, which is fine as long as it stays above the VRR window of 48.

To be honest with you if it came with better draw distance I would be happy with a smooth 30 FPS mode on consoles, the pop-in is the worst part of the visual for me.

matt said epic setting for current consoles is too much for the system. but enhance lighting would come to consoles in future. but i think the epic settings could work on next gen consoles xbox helix and ps6

I Believe if you plug a keyboard in you can get an FPS counter by pressing F3?
