Today I’m suggesting the Oldham Loop Line before the majority of it was turned into a Metrolink Line but I doubt we’d ever get trams despite the metrolink being very similar to heavy rail. Manchester Victoria - Rochdale (Via CVL) Victoria (Route Hopping Enabled to NTP, GL & MAC) Miles Platting Moston Mills Hill Castleton Rochdale Rochdale - Manchester Victoria (Via OLL) Rochdale Milnrow New Hey Shaw & Crompton Royton Junction Derker Oldham Mumps Oldham Central Oldham Werneth Hollinwood Failsworth Dean Lane Miles Platting Manchester Victoria Rolling Stock: Northern Rail Class 156 Northern Rail Class 150/1 Reasons for wanting this specific route: I think this would be educational on what the metrolink looked like beforehand and to embrace modernisation and how the worlds changed in 21-22 years
https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/bury-altrincham-and-oldham-loop-lines-1990.98570/ I did suggest the Oldham Lopp line route combined with the Bury and Altrincham Lines before Metrolink conversion. Oldham Central closed in 1966, Royton Junction closed in 1987 and Miles Platting closed in 1995
Sorry i didn’t know about the closed stations… the map I looked at gave me the wrong stations I guess and actually the 3 and a half lines would be really good as a network like A&W coming in September. But you’d need 3 classes of train right?
