Scenario: (MTX) 6D73 1812 Rylestone Tilcon to Hunslet Tilcon (short) 70 minutes: The loco is the EWS Class 66 v2.0 which spawns with stuck brakes, I have tried every procedure I can find including the EM2000 (where i can move in the menu but can't select anything) like Brake Cut-In where at the moment its in Brake Cut-Out and cannot be changed, I am wondering if its a bug in the scenario or its a problem with the Loco itself. Has anyone else tried this scenario and if so did it run okay, in which case its the EWS Class 66 v2.0 thats the problem, thanks.
I just tried it and I didn't have stuck brakes. Put the reverser lever in, put it to forwards. Q to cancel AWS alarm, E to cancel other alarms. Headlights on, release brakes and go. I didn't have to touch anything on the EM 2000.
I have got in touch with Richard and he just needs more information from me, such as a video showing him how I am attempting to get the brakes released.
I think you just need to hold to release the brakes for 10-15 seconds at the start of the scenario. Any different then I would reinstall your copy of the AP Class 66.
Hi wacdag, I have tried that many times in terms of holding the brakes to release with no joy at all, Richard at Armstrong has asked me to make a video showing him how I am trying to get the brakes released so I will have to attempt to do that, by the way i have re-installed several times with no luck, it does seem to be a common problem with most people beating it, so I guess I must be doing something wrong, thanks for the reply.
I believe it was a problem with the old pack when the emergency brakes applied as this would push the plunger down which some people didn't realise had to be lifted. This isn't an issue with the 2.0 pack and isn't something I've heard before with it.
