Hello, I will suggest my third French line that I would like to see on TSW one day let us keep hope, fellow French , the lines L and U of the Transilien

At first I just wanted to suggest line U; it's a short line and could be a good starting point for a French commuter line, but I thought it was a shame not to run a full route with the other lines, so I chose line L where you can have a complete route on one of the branches for a few extra kilometers. ;)

This route is 44 km long/27 mi and deserves several important poles in the Île-de-France region: Paris St Lazare one of the major train stations in Paris and the oldest one , La Défense where is the famous business center (which is not located in Paris, many people think so) and Versailles Chantiers a station with several trains passing through: RER, Transilien, TGV, TER – you have everything you need.

The stations deserved (Purple is for stations served by Line L and red for Line U) :
    Paris Saint Lazare
    Pont Cardinet
    Clichy Levalois
    Asnières-sur-Seine
    Becon Les Bruyères
    Courbevoie
    La
    Défense
    Puteaux
    Suresnes Mont Valérien
    Le Val d'Or
    Saint
    Cloud
    Sèvres Ville d'Avray
Chaville Rive Droite (Line U splits here)
    Viroflay Rive Droite
    Montreuil
    Versailles Rive Droite

    Cab Ride for Line L

The branch of line U after Chaville Rive Droite:
    Versailles Chantiers
    Saint-Cyr
    Saint Quentin en Yvelines
    Trappes
    La Verrière

Cab Ride for Line U (the video is old, so you'll see trains that no longer run today but the video is just there to show you what the route looks like)

Line U takes 40 minutes to travel between all its stations, and Line L takes 40 minutes too.

    Drivable service :
    - Line U (All stations)
    - Line L (All stations on the Versailles Rive Droite branch to St Lazare)
    - Line J (Paris Saint Lazare - Asnières-sur-Seine section only and does not deserve Pont Cardinet and Clichy Levallois)
    - Line N (Versailles Chantiers - La Verrière section only)
    - RER C (Versailles Chantiers - Saint Quentin en Yvelines section only) the yellow color is much too light so it's going to stay black
    - TER Centre Val de Loire (Versailles Chantiers - Saint Quentin en Yvelines section only and does not deserve Saint Cyr)

    AI :
TGV at Versailles Chantiers (Le Havre - Marseille)
TER Normandie at Paris Saint Lazare
Line V at Versailles Chantiers (Massy Palaiseau - Versailles Chantiers)
Maybe the tram T2 between La Defense and Saint Cloud....
    maybe DRIVEABLE :D

    Rollings stocks :
    Z 8800
for Line U, Line V and RER C

    Transilien Livery :

    Carmilion Livery :
    OIP.jcmoF8fjDEMLNi765lwb7gHaEK.jpg
The RER C and Line V use other variants of the Z2N too, but I don't know if DTG will want to model that for a route that isn't centered on them.

Regio2N for Line N , TER Normandie and TER Centre Val de Loire with, of course, their appropriate liveries for each train

The one in the photo is the livery used on Line N

Z 50000 or Francilien or NAT (yeah a lot of names) for Line L and Line J

    Possibles Extensions :

Line L Extension (the most feasible one in my opinion) :
To Saint Nom la Bretèche Branch (+15 km starting from Saint Cloud). I even think it should be added directly to the route.
This would provide full service on two of the three branches of line L; the last branch would, in my opinion, be another route centered on the RER A and the line L.

That would add the second branch of line L, which is quite short with 8 new stations :

    Garches - Marnes La Coquette
    Vaucresson
    La Celle Saint Cloud
    Bougival
    Louveciennes
    Marly Le Roi
    L'Etang La Ville
Saint Nom la Bretèche - Forêt de Marly

Between St Lazare and Saint Cloud, the two services to Versailles and Saint Nom la Bretèche are different in their stops, I think that would be more interesting than running the same full stop service but just with a branch change.
    OIP.q2nCMqPz4lMauq90IMJfZAHaCD.jpg
As can be seen in the image, for example, the St Lazare - Versailles trains do not stop at Becon les Bruyères, Courbevoie, Puteaux and Le Val d'Or.

    Line N Extension :
To Rambouillet (+15 km) and/or Paris Montparnasse (+16 km) for Line N and TER Centre Val De Loire
And if both are added, a second extension towards Chartres (+40 km starting from Rambouillet), I say both because I think it would be a shame if we couldn't have a full route from Montparnasse to Chartres; but it could also be a different route. :D

In addition to the various important stations served, I chose this route because the line U uses two already existing routes (no route created especially for Line U) , so in addition to driving the line U , you will be able to drive other train line even if it's not completely, the fact that it's also short makes it more possible to make it as a second French route.

The fact that there are two types of landscapes is also fascinating, I find: Line L (urban) and Line U (urban on the section shared with Line L and provincial on the other section) :D

But it also opens doors for other routes because the trains I suggested are widely used in the Île-de-France region (for Regio2N in France in general), it should be noted that Transilien trains share a section with the RER on part of their route (RER A have line L, RER B have line K, RER C have line H etc..) , so we need to suggest many new trains.
(As an example, I wanted to suggest the RER E with line P (Paris Est/Saint Lazare - Meaux or La Fierté Milon + Crécy la Chapelle Branch/Coulommiers) but at least 4-5 new trains would be needed, depending on the era + the route is 100 km long, too long for a first commuter).

A nighttime video of the Versailles Chantiers train station :

Having gone there for the first time not long ago, it's truly a busy station

Line L plan (just look Saint Lazare to the branch at the very top and Saint Nom la Bretèche branch if it is added directly to the route) :

Thanks for the likes and comments on this suggestion or others (mine or even those of others), it shows that those who love French railways and want that on TSW haven't disappeared yet :D

In fact, I edited my post to add another extension idea using the branch of Saint Nom la Bretèche for an extra 15 km :D

I think it should be added directly to the route. But just in case, I'll put it in the possible extension section because going from 44 km to 59 km is something. If one day the route came out without the branch, it's not a big deal, even though I'd find it a shame:(, but I would like them to release it later at least. :)

The line you're referring to is the Saint Denis - Dieppe line where between Serqueux and Arques la Bataille it's closed

But you can go to Dieppe from Saint Lazare (change trains at Rouen Rive Droite) with the Saint Lazare - Le Havre line and Malaunay Le Houlme - Dieppe line
And on weekends, there's just one round trip train who make the complete journey from Saint Lazare to Dieppe without changing the train

But if I had to give my opinion on this route, it's a little long : 200 km
