Hopefully the "Live Weather" can be fixed ahead of launch because it looked terrible on the stream, the transitions were immediate and clearly needed some work. Also on the LiveStream Matt stated that ""A number of Industry Lines will not be available/accessible upon launch"" can we get some clarification as to what exactly that meant, and if the fix is already completed awaiting an after launch quick patch please dtg_jan Thanks.
It was quite comical Matt describing how the dynamic weather's been updated to have smooth transitions then literally every weather transition on the stream was instantaneous.
What we saw on stream was "Live Weather" which appears to have some bugs. "Dynamic Weather" that Matt discussed being totally overhauled, was not shown on stream.
actually, he did put Dynamic on the second service using "Dynamic light clouds" but didn't run the full service so it wasn't long enough to change
Hmm so DTG stated that the stone hopper cars are increasingly rare? Now I am not sure if that is fully true as over here on the East Coast on the LIRR. The NYAR uses these stone hopper cars from CSX and NS over the Hell Gate Line, to transport stone and stone cars to Long Island. I have attached a video I made and posted to Youtube that features the NYAR and their operations with said stone hopper cars!!! My video: Included is various NYAR moves and trains alongside the LIRR!!! Including those blue stone hopper cars. The ones seen here are blue, but they are functionally the same cars. However I have noticed in recent years the amount of them have dropped significantly!!!
