    Hi team,
I love the West Cornwall Local. But the lack of an organic exiting point or a maintenance facility makes operations feel incomplete.

Many people invest heavily in these routes and we want to see them reach their full potential.

I have these specific suggestions to improve realism and gameplay:

1).Extend the route via Par to Plymouth:

The current end point at St Austell ignores the critical next stop at Par, which serves as an important junction. Expanding the remaining 44 miles to Plymouth would allow players to call at all 10 missing intermediate stations:

Par, Lostwithiel, Bodmin Parkway, Liskeard, Menhieniot, St Germans, Saltash, St Budeaux Ferry Road, Keynsham, and Plymouth.

2).Add crucial maintenance and freight yards:

This extension would solve the lack of infrastructure by adding Laira TMD
(Traction Maintenance Depot) just outside Plymouth for train storage and servicing. It would also introduce Par Harbor tracks, Truro Yard, and Fowey China Clay Docks for authentic freight operations.

Thank you for considering these improvements for the Cornwall Local line!

WCL doesn't need a remaster. It needs an overhaul

But I do agree, that route does need a lot of love and if it wasn't for the Seacow & Turbot wagons showing up a lot in Just Trains' routes, I would un-install the route

Totally agree. I never play it because it’s so bad.

It needs throwing in the bin and starting over from scratch, with a developer who knows what they are doing! :)

In the immortal words of one of the Controllers in the Apollo 13 movie, “I’ll have to get back to you on that…”

I'll sometimes fire it up just to drive the St Ives branch, as we can choose either the 150/2, 101, or 142. So that adds a bit of variety. But the route itself is well past it's prime...if it ever had it and with the rolling stock available now since it's release, a remaster/rebuild could definitely bring it to life. Though an extension to at least Par would be fantastic.

And also keep it set in the era it represents.

That og 150 was bad, I haven’t played it in a while definitely need a rebuilt route, the 10 extra stations to Plymouth I’d buy a modern extension to Plymouth is Devonport and Devonport dockyard also there between Keyham and Plymouth?

They try hard but to often fail. I have more faith in other third party designers than l do with Rivet.

l have more faith in Rivet producing locomotives. Stay off routes Rivet and keep to something you are reasonably good at.

Apparently they made Riveria Line which is a nice route but they also did West Cornwall Local which included the original 150/2 which was awful

It needs a valenta class 43 so bad (as a separate add on of course). I feel like the route is just incomplete without it and we could get a few services on the following routes: wcml Preston-Carlisle, wcml Crewe-Preston, a rail tour for the Blackpool branches and have it as AI at Leeds on the northern transpennine and AI at Darlington on the tees valley.
