The route would go from East Glacier Park, MT to Whitefish, MT, and would include BNSF’s ET44C4s/ES44ACs, SD70ACEs/SD70MACs, and GP30s for switching cars as well as Amtrak’s P40dcs on the Empire Builder. Paint scheme variations could include H2 and H3 for BNSF or Executive/Grinstein for the MACs and phase IV or phase V for the P42s. Places on the route would include places like Essex, Goat Lick, West Glacier Park, and Columbia Falls. The services would include the two Amtrak trains that go through per day, many freight services, switching at the BNSF yard in Whitefish, and possibly switching by the Izaak Walton Inn with the 1 to 2 locos that are usually there.

This would nice for TSW but it would be a while before that happens we need the editor first in order for another developer to make a branded and unbranded version.

Normally I would say don't remake any TSxx routes in TSW so we have more variety, but I would make exception to this for Marias Pass. I still think it is the best North American Route hands down. I would LOVE for it to be redone in TSW, in its current length as well, but I would be really surprised if that happened.

Not that it really matters but your idea is bad. Once you experience the TS version of this route you would never want a "Chopped Up" "Neutered" version of that same route.

The length, changes in elevation, and changes in scenery are all part of the package.
    And part of the "charm".

Endless plains, mountains, forrest, lakes, several industrial areas and even a few towns to cruise buy is what you get for the TS version. And it all happens at different parts of the route.

And then there is the "ONE HUNDRED" or so wagons you would be hauling. YOu KnoW ThAT aint happening in tsw any time sOOn!

Take just a few of those things away, and it's just not Marias Pass.

    It's something else,........

    ....but not Marias Pass.

How does stating that I would love to see something happen but realize that it probably never will suggest any sort of mental instability?

    Relax would you
I don't think you are actually "insane".

Now that i think about it, i don't care if you are insane. It would have been nice if you added something useful in your response though.

Agreed it doesn't seem to take much these days to turn the discussion in the wrong direction and something like this happens.

You're correct in saying that we can do better than this.

With respect, I disagree with your assessment "Wholeheartedly".

When someone takes the time to post a thoughtful and insightful opinion it doesn't mean a person has a right to tell
that person to F off. Even if they disagree with that person.
One guy is obviously sensitive about being insane,.......as if i were seriuos

And the other guy tells you to F off for no reason!

I don't know where U were raised, but where I come from if someone throws salt in your face you throw it
    right BACK with extreme Predjudice.

I would Never use that language with someone just because I disagree with them.
You Disrespect someone, and you get what you deserve.

I could care less about you or anyone else judging me.
At least i left a "INTELLIGENT RESPONSE" to the op even if i disagreed with him.

And for that i get a "F off".

    No, you F off.

As far as im concerned, this "Exchange" is over.

No you're in the correct forum where the talk by one person and one person only does a 360 degree turn in the wrong direction. And has the belief he can use any language he chooses. Everyone else thinks the route idea would be a good one for TSW. First it would the longest route and I would see it get made.
