PS5 Profile Save Issue When Starting Tsw6

I didn't even get that far. I imported my TSW6 profile, navigated to Trains > Journeys > Training Center, and I received the CE-100028-1 error. This is is the same behavior that I was seeing with TSW6. Profiles can be corrupted when just browsing Journey Mode; completing a tutorial/service/scenario can trigger the bug too. There is clearly something wrong with high-level profiles as we determined last year.

 

After playing ICE787 on TSW7 I got a CE-100028-1 error after finishing and returning to the main menu. It’s attempting to save a BAK file, which failed. I have noticed this multiple times on the same route: Nurnberg - Wurzburg. I haven’t seen it on the other new routes yet. And after a restart it asked me again for importing my TSW6 save, so probably it corrupted my save file. I already submitted a ticket for this problem.

For now I am avoiding the Nurnberg - Wurzburg route.

Did anyone else experience these problems?

By the way I have PS5-pro.

 

Not on TSW, but I got the error before and it was because there wasn't any storage space left on the drive.

Deleted a game I didn't play much and never saw it again.

appleerwin, this has been a known issue on PS5 since last year. It's not related to your available storage space. I've been trying unsuccessfully to get DTG to acknowledge and fix this issue. Please see these topics too:

Out of curiosity, what is your level in TSW? This seems to hit players around the 1000+ level.

I opened ticket #127869 yesterday for this issue and received this response, so maybe there is still hope that it will be fixed:

"We are truly sorry this has caused you so much trouble. However, we would like to assure you that we have been working on a solution and so far our testing is proving very positive. Please keep an eye on our announcements as we should have an update soon."

 

I’m around level 850. Really annoying.
By the way it is not specific to the German route: I now also got it on the UK route.

 

Yeah, the issue seems to stem from completing a certain amount of services/scenarios/tutorials. There is some bucket of allocated save game space that fills up. I've always suspected that this would be an easy issue to fix if the right resources were devoted to it.

 

Yeah, there's no getting around it. This bug cost me a level 1,700 profile in March

 

I have the same problem: after completing a run in TSW7, I get the same error message when the programme returns to the main menu. I reported this in https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/ce-100028-1-error-on-tsw7.99443/. I'm currently at level 800+ and I don’t want to start over.

I wasn’t aware that this problem had been around for a while. This probably also explains why I previously lost my progress in TSW6 due to a corrupt save file. I lost half a year of progress.

I still had a faint hope that it would be better in TSW7. It isn’t.

Up to TSW5 I bought all the DLCs. I stopped doing that, due to the existing problems (blurry textures, save game corruption, …) and no trophies with the DLCs, it’s simply not as fun anymore for me.

 

Same problem. Lvl 1474 sitting there and literally if I do one more service the file corrupts (had to turn of syncing on PS5 to keep save from day earlier alive)

Importing to TSW7 doesn't change things as corrupted straight away after one service.

One thing I think we can rule out is save game size. Created a new character on same file bloating the size further but seems to be happy thus far

 

Same here as well.
I was at level 792, when the CE-100028-1 error when playing the Pick Up Line scenario as part of Diesel Legends of the Great Western Pack.
Don’t think its anything to do with storage as I have over 100gb left on my PlayStation.
