I have a question: Is the BR442 compatible with automatic operation? I am using "Train Conductor Mode."
If it is supposed to be automatic, it isn't working.
    PC/Steam version.

btw how do you see the digital and analog brake gauges on ICE4? it kinda looks like the analogue doesnt respond much if at all and the digital screen doesnt seem to give me good idea of how much brake effort is given either (it shows percentage ok, but doesnt give me good idea of how much air and e-braking is going on)

I noticed this too, however, am assuming that there is quite a lot of blending happening as well irl. I need to dive a little deeper into this until I feel comfortable enough to comment (or judge) on that…

The vectron keeps saying turn on ATB and you can't set the afb speed. What did they do copy and paste the other red vectron with all its bugs. Well done DTG .

well, I remember Vectron having modern displays while doing a lot of blending when braking - at 1a/1b (or equivalent percentage) it would usually use just e-brake, at higher it would start using air... even at standstill, if you moved the train brake handle, you could see at least one needle moving and a slight hissing sound of air

here if you open the second tab on the digital display, you can see some stuff happening, but lets say the bar on the right thats supposed to be moving as you move the lever, it doesnt do anything either

like yeah, most ppl wouldnt notice if they just look straight ahead, but I like to check the gauges when braking, so I noticed right away (even the AFB standing brake I can only see on the digital display, not in the slight pressure of air on the pads that should probably be also visible on the analogue dial)

The thing is that the ICE 4 uses a lot of direct braking irl (also on individual carriages), which will have no effect on HL. But how all this world together and is supposed to be displayed I do not yet know…

AFB works fine on the vectron. Press the speed set button on the screen on the right, move the AFB lever into position, press the top of the afb lever to confirm the speed set.

I dont know, ICE 3 the newer version also had some weird braking, but you could at least see the needles moving when adjusting the train brake lever... there is this 5 bar thing, which should go lower when you use air (and the 10 bar thing is reservoir, I think?)

Indeed, but HL (5 bar) will not be used for a direct braking… then again, no idea how this works on the ice 4.

    ICE 4

Can someone from DTG confirm that, despite the brake mode toggle being there and clickable, there is absolutely no system difference?

I've tried clicking it a few times, holding it, nothing results in any display indication changes or any difference in braking behaviours. It should cycle from blended (normal) > electric only (with Nur e-Bremse indication) > air brake only (with Nur Luftbremse) > blended.

    ICE 4

I will also add that LZB feels a little "off". I think the braking curve is too shallow and is requesting braking too early. The braking can also mostly be dealt with by using lower brake settings, which also seems wrong. So this is either a too shallow LZB curve, and/or brakes being too effective at lower settings

    ICE4

The MFD indication of AFB lever position (top left) showing speed should only show the speed of the current AFB position, and not be affected by LZB. Right now it reduces the indication to whatever LZB demands/allows, which is incorrect.

The yellow indication on the speed dial is also incorrect. First, the yellow diamond should be within the white markings around the speed dial (ie in the same radius), not externally as it currently is. Secondly, it should not disappear when under LZB - as above, it should remain in the AFB lever's position only. LZB speed is indicated with the red triangle on the outside of the speed dial only.

This ICE4 really needs a bit of work.

I agree. The volume is too low, so I can't hear what is being said, even with the settings at maximum. (PC/Steam version)
    Please fix this.

I have a question: does the game stutter near Nuremberg?

I experienced a sound delay while testing the American map at night, later, when I went to the menu, there was a lag between the click and the corresponding beep ... Quitting and reloading the game fixed the issue for the moment, but I'll have to see if it happens again next time, probably tonight.

Hello, on the BR440 during a PZB penalty brake (a speed trap out between Rottendorf and Kitzingen iirc) there was no beep / buzz during the brake once triggered until releasing at standstill - just the penalty brake and a confused me. On Windows PC / normal keyboard mouse etc.

Wanted to start me freight journey but no surprise safety systems dont work and now afb can't be set using a controller. I mean did we even do Q&A and testing on the routes. I think not.

In Nürnberg Hbf, in reality there is no train route from Steinbühl Tief diverging towards Hauptgüterbahnhof / Regiowerk - there are in fact no "proper" train routes from Hbf to Hgbf, only shunting routes (Rangierfahrstraßen). The only full train movements in Hgbf are Rangierbahnhof to Jansenbrücke. Generally the signalling system tends to give train routes (Hp 1 or 2) even though the journey is a shunting manouver (e.g. 58249 preparing for service in Würzburg), in 99,9% of cases that the train does not leave the station itself, it is a shunting manouver. Credit where it's due, the RE services usually use one half of 12 and 13, which is correct.

I don't know if this was intentional, but maybe remove the invisible wall between Nürnberg Steinbühl and the DB Museum. Since you can walk in both areas it's a bit useless to have a wall there. Definitely not the most important bug fix in this thread, but still a would be nice to have thingy

Also after recording the video I discovered that the player can actually fit between the stairs and walkway at around 0:18 seconds and there is no wall there, but still it would be nice to have the other walls removed too.
