I am trying to add TSW7 to my Nvidia app and it won't find the game if I scan the computer from the Nvidia App.

I can add the TrainSimWorld.exe manually from:

    F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 7\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64

but if I try and start the game from that exe (either from within the Nvidia app, or just by double clicking the .exe file) it tries to install TSW6, then starts TSW7 but the load screen locks up after a few seconds.

    My questions are:

    1. How do you start TSW7 without having to go through the STEAM library.

    2. Even though I have added the game to my NVIDIA app (I did this to enable smooth motion), how do I know this is now working?

    Thanks

    Neil

you can just add a desktop shortcut from within the steam library
    that is what i have
all I have to do now is double click the TSW7 icon on the desktop

How do I know that the Nvidia app is doing its thing with Smooth Motion. I’m a bit worried that even though I selected the exe to add TSW7 into the app, since the exe doesn’t seem to start TSW how do I know that the smooth motion is working?

Turn on the Nvidia Overlay. (Alt + Z). Down the bottom is the statistics section. Go into that and select Smooth Motion as one of the statistics. In the Game press Alt + R to enable the statistics overlay. It'll either say SM Active if it's working or SM N/A if it's not.
