The Leipzig–Erfurt high-speed railway (Neubaustrecke Erfurt–Leipzig/Halle) is a modern high-speed railway in central Germany, forming an important part of the country’s north–south and east–west InterCity-Express network. Opened in 2015, the approximately 123 km line connects Erfurt with Leipzig and Halle, dramatically reducing journey times between central and eastern Germany. The DB Class 408 ICE 3neo would be the headline train, giving players the chance to experience modern German high-speed driving at up to 300 km/h. It would make the long stretches of dedicated high-speed railway particularly exciting, while its modern cab and passenger systems would bring one of DB's newest trains into TSW. Another well asked for ICE train in TSW. The inclusion of the S Bahn Leipzig 1442 would make the route much more varied. Instead of being purely an ICE-focused high-speed route, regional/S-Bahn services would add additional traffic around Leipzig and Halle, giving players more frequent services and different stopping patterns to operate, so its not a high speed route with just ICE traffic. As far as I know the ICE 3neo doesn't really run on that line. It mainly operates on services towards Belgium and the Netherlands. If you want a highspeed line with the neo Köln - Frankfurt would be a better choice since it's actually used there. If you do want to add some more IC white to the route you could instead of the ICE 3neo add the IC2.
Thats correct the ICE3 Neo does not run on this route. So its not realistic as for today. And the problem is this high speed line is ETCS full supervision what is a problematic issue the game is not ready for ETCS.

I feel like this route would also need the classic lines between the three stations (at least some of them), to allow for freight and regional stations.
Even if it doesn't use this route much, its still valuable to have in TSW for other key german routes. I think any route that has it, use it. Its a highly requested ICE train in the game. In terms of ETCS, its been quite a while since we've seen it, third parties have grown massively, and I think its time it got properly introduced, instead of it being rubbish like how rivet did it.
sigh... ETCS would be most welcome, since it is the future in terms of EU railways - in some cases, it isnt only used on highspeed routes... Wien Stammstrecke is currently being converted to ETCS, to allow for even tighter intervals
No, not those either. Only the BR403 and the BR407 run to France. The BR403 is the workhorse for the fast services Berlin Munich without stop at Leipizig. The 412 is the slower service that runs Berlin Munich via Leipzig. ICE1 is a sort of replacement on some services for the 412
