Even where the AI Conductor is in use, set to Always, we still have the ludicrous situation of doors opening off the platform. This at Hartford on SoS where the train is overlength for the platform, with the front coach just on the platform the rear of the train is off it... For gods sake, sort this out Dovetail.
Train sim world will not load anymore since downloading my previous routes. It just sits there doing nothing. And yes, I am connected to the internet
Hello, I would appreciate if you could make the UI more eye-comfortable. Those grey dots on the grey background are not comfortable to my eyes. They seem to flicker although they are static. It is hard to describe - it must be a visual illusion. Also I find the letters are hard to read cause they are also grey. Can you just change the font colour or the background colour for better contrast? In TSW 6 there is good contrast and it is really comfortable to my eyes. Dark blue background and a white font is just perfect! I play on PC (Steam) and I have a big OLED display (3440x1440, 175 Hz). Thanks for reading.
Anyone else having an issue with scenario creation? I created a scenario on GWE and used a loco with custom livalry. Loaded up the scenario and it dumps me in random places on the map. Same happens when ive restarted the scenario and it would dump me somewhere else. The loco isnt even showing on the map. Im on PS5 by the way
If I'm right there is a switch to activate skins from the creatorsclub do you have that enabled? Or do you have already drive with a CC skin?
Upon loading into Riviera and ECW for the first time on XSX everything was blurred heavily for me and everything hadn't loaded properly. The sounds were also lagging out too. Only way I could fix it was quitting the game and reloading. TSW7 has also deleted a bunch of my scoring on the 171 pack and I'm unable to replay the services to get the score back.
Matt has said that the team are looking into a "dark mode" replacement, BUT obviously they need to maintain visible separation of colours for colourblind and visually impaired players, so there will be no quick fix. please stand by.
I can't say for 100% sure it's the reason for TSW...but for other games I think that's there in case there are slight issues with screen sizes on some peoples' computers. It gives a little space to "play with" so the very edges of the screen don't "fit" then you aren't cutting off anything important. It's often by design.
When I set all safety systems to ON (PZB,LZB,..) per default in the game settings but SIFA only to off, when loading a timetable scenario SIFA is always on wrongly.
from your screenshot it looks like they increased the general font size... while I dont mind some extra visibility, the places where they adjusted this arent IMO places that really needed it and it just takes space... how about making stuff on in-cab displays actually clear to read without having to click on em (which disables stuff like acknowledging safety systems, ehm ehm )
Semmeringbahn, Milkshake scenario. At the end you talk to the guard. Red box, pink writing. They used to bend over backwards to accommodate colour deficiencies, now they've given me one.
Sorry but that has nothing to do with the issue I'm raising which was we still have doors opening on portion of the train not at the platform. If you look closely at the screenshot these were actually under the bridge and would have hit the brickwork!
And here some positive feedback: I'm absolutely delighted that I am now able to use -DX12 -FSR / DLSS -Frame generation -Epic settings So many new and useful features to find the right balance between graphics quality and performance. Just thank you!
Something else that wasn't addressed in the core updates... The end of run summary screen still frequently lists the wrong route. I just finished a run on Frankfurt S Bahn and it showed up as Bremen to Oldenburg! I know the AP does get correctly allocated, well I hope it does, but come on guys - can't you fix this basic error?
PS5 When trying to change a setting in the Audio options window the ‘apply’ button does not work. Counter intuitively, the only way to save any changed settings is to press ’Circle’ (go back button) and then a pop up with save/cancel options appears. Perhaps removing the ‘apply’ icon from the bottom of the screen and adding some helpful text would be useful.
DB BR 218 on PC When AI Conductor set to 'always' the door closing lever constantly clicks and animates. Setting it to 'off' stopped it.
