The gangway between the first two units appears to be still missing on the 801, post update.

 

Tried to do 'The White Rose Kipper' railtour part 1 with the 37/5 RF and it's not powerful enough.
On the branch section with the steep hill I was down to 25mph.
The rear loco is essentially dead weight and doing nothing.
You can't keep the timings.

 

I'm not sure if this one was reported, I've seen other posts about trigger happy TPWS at stations however.

I got a TPWS intervention around 2-ish miles north of Keighley when heading southbound with 6D37, it was for the drop in linespeed to 60mph, the issue is my Class 66 was only doing a couple of mph under that limit and was in notch 4. Evidently a trigger happy loop decided I was going to somehow bust it and dumped the brakes on me.

I've already gotten into the habit of hitting the train stop override button when pulling into Bradford and Ilkley (Leeds seems ok) but don't want to have to pull the breakers going forward, especially as that kills the AWS as well :/

 

The TPWS has had me before Keighley too, though weirdly only in the 66. The 331 (which I drive quite aggressively) hasn’t triggered that grid, and with the 66 I’m more preserved due to the weight. Certainly an odd one.

The other thing bugging me is that you’re forced to sit through the time between your end stop & the service end time. There’s a lot of padding on this timetable (which to my surprise is accurate to the real thing) so you’re into the various termini a few minutes early & your unload is done after 30 seconds - you just have to sit there then.

At the very least, I’d like to see the door closures here removed, no train is getting to its final stop & closing doors after 30 seconds.

 

Id like to see more AI at Leeds. Such as trains to Blackpool north etc. Seems very quiet with not much activity

 

I have seen more life at a graveyard, than at Leeds Station!!

 

Tracks in Keighley station have cant in reality(trains tilt because of the track). But in game they are flat. Other curved stations like skipton are OK.

Scenario: Timetable, Service 2S08 (Class 333 from Bradford to Skipton, departure 08:08).
I took over the train at Frizinghall after driving as passenger (before that I took service 2P24 from Leeds to Bradford)
What happened:
arrived at Keighley, opened the doors, then after closing doors the scenario suddenly was stopped/finished because of some train derailed(????). I was still standing!!! So I have no clue what or who was derailed.

 

Anyone else getting penalty braked in the 66 for no reason.

 

Is it near to Keighley? There seems to be a trigger happy TPWS magnet around 2 miles north of there which doesn't like the 66 if you're still accelerating towards 60...

 

Not sure if reported, but there's a missing large pylon, West end of the passenger loops about 3 miles from Leeds. Not generally fussed about these types of things, but it's very obvious when driving in the Leeds direction.

I like the pax chatter from the cab (although in this route it's very quiet), but the sneezing is a bit annoying....especially as I seem to have developed an actual cold which is a bit early in the season!

 

The 801 the lights are buggy the keep switching of but you still get a light beam and the rear just switch on and off.

 

I was just about to mention this same thing it’s quite noticeable . This is the same missing pylon someone else mentioned I think . Hopefully they will patch it.

Just to report, I get a spurious third buzz in the 333 from the guard on dispatch (ie: STOP). Typically you get *buzz *buzz.....*BUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Sometimes the long solid buzz comes first - in either case a long single buzz very much means stop, so it'd be nice to see that one fixed. Hopefully not just me?

 

It's a good route though I'm disappointed with the timetable.
Will Dovetail take a look at this, I hope they will.
Will it be expanded on to Wakefield and onwards to Doncaster?
Fair enough the branch lines are probably okay, I find Leeds far too quiet and even though Skyhooks 158 will fill a few holes.
I'm not sure it'll be enough.
I understand we don't have TPE and the 91 it's tricky with a lack of substitutions.
When we get something that moves away from the South, there's little available to add.
Happy to get the route, but it's lacking.

 

I really hope that will come as a route DLC at some point to bridge the gap there we currently have. Especially if the ATS King's Cross route gets to Peterborough

 

Agree it’s a good route , have been enjoying it so far. I like the random track workers , and the scenery is generally nice . Would be nice if the random track workers could also show within the temporary speed restrictions , adds some realism as to the reason for the speed restrictions.

 

Im getting hardly any station announcments in Leeds. currently in timetable mode on foot at 9am so i would expect it to be almost constant. Ive been stood here now 10 minutes and had 1 which was for the cross country services. nothing for the northern or LNER servcies

I know on some routes I believe you see track workers/ hi viz workers on the depot which is a nice touch but on this route, I don’t recall seeing any in the depot but correct me if I’m wrong.

would be a nice touch if not. I find the route great, just needs to feel more alive, seeing more passengers, noise, depot workers etc!

This is a section frequently encountered during gameplay. I also wrote a post about it in another article. Thanks for the photo; this is exactly the spot. The transmission tower has vanished, and the high-voltage cables are strung in a bizarre way.

 

I feel the same way. Overall, the frequency of occurrence—including at individual stations—is low.

 

331 Headlights stuck on permanently in Free roam, Headlights are on Tail Lights and the Day & Marker Lights and tail lights are currently both on.

I've lost access to this route for some reason on my Xbox Series X. It says owned deluxe edition. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but I can't see the route or either of the two locos in game. I've restarted my game twice now. The only route not appearing.

In the Class 333 Journey Mode the very last service 2D79 Ilkley to Bradford Forster Square only spawns the very first car of the train.

Also found two typos in the penalty fare signs at Leeds.

Loving this route so far. I do like how we can pick up cargo and deliver it on the same route.

Only a few minor things I've noticed.

Whilst unloading at Hunslet east, there is no animation or sound of the wagons actually unloading. The consist also doesn't animate the compress and expand when your brake/accelerate. It is simulated as you can see the jolts in the cab but not animated like on other routes.

The wagons appear to rock side to side whilst stationary on the immediate approach to Hunslet east.

Whilst on an Azuma run from Bradford to Leeds i randomly derailed as i left Shipley.

When viewing the rear of the Azuma using the external camera the tail lights do not appear, despite turning them off and on again, to be on but when you walk to the rear they appear on.

At the level crossing at Conningley or the other one near it i have seen a car drive across it whilst the barriers are down.

I'm looking forward to the 158 which should bring much needed life to Leeds, all that's needed now is some TPE. I also feel like a 170 should be obligatory as well.

When driving the 333 and returning to free roam after a service, after waiting for the new service start time to pass, the train will reset itself automatically so that you have to unlock the master key etc. This is quite immersion breaking and has not happened in previous TSW iterations that i can remember.

 

Not sure if already reported, the 6E77 freight services are missing the part between the loading facility and skipton.
After part 9, the run back starts at 18h20, didn't want to wait half an hour, but that one doesn't exist in the timetable.

This is my kind of route(s), loving it so far. Two issues for me;
1. Have been getting the dreaded audio popping (raspberry!) every 6 seconds when driving the 331 between 60 and 90mph.
2. As mentioned in a previous post, I have also been stuck with all the front lights on (headlights, markers, taillights) on the 331 at the end of 2H22 after switching to tail lights only. Moving into FreeRoam did not allow the problem to be cleared - the light switch did nothing.

No whistle sounds from AI trains when passing a whistle board - thought this was a standard TSW feature now?

 

Most of the boxing gloves I found I cannot collect. There is absolut no reaction. Has anyone ever testet this?

If you play a service with the Class 333 for example and then return to timetable the Class 331 doesn’t show and vice versa until you return back to the route selection page and go back on to Airedale

The Skipton Broughton Road Sidings to Skipton require 250 points for a platinum medal but the most you can achieve is 225 points

 

I have gotten all collectibles on this route .

 

PC Steam - Class 331/1 (4car), able to open local door and close local door while moving in guard mode, tried on a few services.

 

I loaded up the HST "Staycation" Railtour this morning and selected power car 43185 to drive. Externally it gave me 43185. Internally though it was 43058.

Couldn't get direct path to Royston quarry
Got path to Skipton after uncoupling got stuck with hard red signals that wouldn't change

Had to spawn in several different locomotives to bypass red signals

Eventually made it to my wagons

The path gave icons appearing to be sent but wasn't the path remained red and sometimes wouldn't set at all

Every time I had to make a new path it removed the AP action points

At Skipton after making it back to my wagons

The points to Royston quarry wouldn't change

And kept trying to send me via platform 4

 

The 801 on this route is just me or is a lot slow then the Peterborough version when it comes to pulling away and building up speed.

 

Someone told me the long buzz before you get two on the buzzer is meant to be a reminder to keep the direction switch in neutral. idk how accurate that was. Other times I've noticed the two on the buzzer get replaced with a single long buzz yes

 

Is this route meant to be available in the free version or not? Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere

 

What da hell is happened with FPS around Shipley? When you face Baildon/Apperley Bridge there is massive drops - around 32 FPS. For example, in Leeds I have 56 FPS.
Is this the same object from Boston Commuter (fixed) and Morristown (not fixed)?
I’ve noticed that on all the routes with such a massive FPS drop, there’s always water nearby.

By the way, I like greenery on this route. The best flora on DTG/Rivet routes so far.
