No, owning the DLC should automatically give you the entitlement for the TSW 7 version. Have you checked the store pages as well to see if they are available to download?
Showing and installing now after a console restart! I just hope that after the 150 pieces of DLC are installed that it will still actually load up, unlike the last few iterations of TSW... If not, then I know which thread I shall be visiting! It kind of makes me wish that we could have seen DTG Matt's screen after it crashed during the console preview stream, as it did seem to take an awfully long time to boot up, so I am curious if there were any load up crashes during that time.
Hi Jan I can't download santa fe cajon pass dlc and kassel würzburg its saying i got pay cause I dont own them but I do this is on xbox.
Just got the free edition for PS5. Several routes I own are saying in PS store they need to be bought again. Pretty much all North American as well. Arosalinie Cajon Pass Sand Patch Oakville Cane Creek Clinchfield Horseshoe Long Island Rail Road Any other PS5 players had this at all?
Hello dal#7945, Kassel Würzburg, Cajon Pass and the Class 170 were not set up correctly by Microsoft, but we are currently in talks with them to resolve the entitlement issue. We will report back once the issue is resolved or when we have more information. All the best, Jan
Kassel Würzburg has now gone through publishing and should be available on Xbox as intended. Santa-Fe and the Class 170 are still processing and should become available soon.
It was supposed to be fixed in a patch, but on the Nuremberg route, the BR 442's Automatic Train Conductor system is not working. The settings are set to "Realistic." PC/Steam version. Please check this.
dtg_jan Hi Jan the small update for the font size was that for all platforms. Cause I just played on xbox a font is still quite big. And I done the update before. Thanks
Bummer. After finding a solution for the BR 193 Vectron loco "Confirm Speed" key not working (unbind key then reinstall CTRL +F), installed day one patch and killed the key assignment again. Tried everything, reset all keys, unbind said key, and resigned key to no avail.
There was a post on discord about what's coming next week, hinting at major updates every week. Apparently wasn't posted in the forum so here's a copy and paste: Train Sim World 7 – Post-Launch Status As we head into our first weekend following TSW7's official release, I want to share an updated status report that helps highlights some of the key feedback we've seen from our reports, as well as sharing the highlights of our first patch coming next week! ## **Top Reported Issues** - Nürnberg-Würzburg - Low performance/FPS around Nürnberg station. ***Status:** ️ Improvements in next patch, further work ongoing* - Beginner Controls - Incompatibility with non-US keyboards. ***Status:** ️ Planned for an upcoming patch* - Controller Camera Movement - External camera too fast, on-foot movement feels off ***Status:** ️ Known issue, under review with our teams* - Livery Designer - Liveries aren't appearing as expected in Livery Designer menus. ***Status:** ️ Known issue, under review with our teams* - Camera Speed - Console players have noted cameras are too fast at slowest speed. ***Status:** ️ Known issue, under review with our teams* - Missing Wheels - Some trains when using liveries are show to be missing wheels. ***Status:** ️ Known issue, under review with our teams* - Freight Hauler - Soft-locking issues when playing and general feedback. ***Status:** ️ Longer-term improvements planned* ## ️ **First Major Patch - Coming Next Week!** Arriving next week will be one of our first major post-release updates for TSW7, which includes a huge range of fixes and improvements, including some of the areas you've been reporting to our teams. If you do need help, we have gameplay guides, tutorial and much more on our TSW FAQs. Thank you for all for an incredible release this year, and stay tuned for more information on patches, releases and announcements!
At least some of the above, no matter how welcome, should never have made it into the release version in the first place!
I'm curious to see how releases/updates will fold together over the next few months. I'm assuming the 805 button fix, as well as some WCMLTV changes will release alongside the class 70, and some Crewe-Preston fixes will release alongside the Cumbrian Coast release. I guess it must help the QA process if third party DLC releases/updates in the same patch.
Thanks for the heads up,though why they dont put it on the forum beats me.Surely it would show the people who are having issues, that they are looking at them. The controller issue on consoles is a nightmare at the moment.
I guess not putting the info in these forums is a not-so-subtle indication of the importance they attach to them
Indeed… The forum is still a part of the “community” if an occasionally dysfunctional one , so the CM’s should be following up anything listed on Discord with a similar post here (and Facebook too).
"Feels off"? No, people have been quite explicit. The acceleration is wholly unsuited to trying to control with fine precision, and for on-foot movement, the constant dropping to minimum speed with every direction change makes people feel sick. It's not rocket science, you revert the changes to analogue stick input. It needs no "review".
Kinda hope we updates today or tomorrow cause this lagging on menu and route screens is really bad now. And the route/loco updates as well.
I’d much rather quickly see the barebones menu without the thumbnails than wait in a holding pattern until everything has preloaded and then see the menu screen in all its graphical glory. Just putting that out there, since most of the comments I’ve seen appear to prefer waiting for a pretty menu rather than quickly getting back into the game, which is definitely not my preference.
On pc with the upcoming update the thumbnails will load again.... They load a bit slower but they load. I hope that is on consoles also the case. You see the difference very clear. With the current version you can wait until Christmas and they won't load.
The thumbnail images takes around 20 - 30 seconds to load and its just a when moving from on loco to the other it gets stuck and you have to wait for it to catch up I suppose.
Okay, thanks for the heads up. I’m on console and the wait to get back into the menu after completing a service was often very long on TSW6 and previous iterations. That might not be obvious to people who don’t have much DLC, but if you have lots then the wait for the menu to reload is not trivial.
It could be also a problem with mods. They use mostly the old way and need to be changed so it could be also an issue on my side here... I will test it without active mods.
For people with mods installed.... When you have the Flirt Westbahn Skin installed by FreddieTheShepherd the game won't reload the route thumbnails when you return to you're route list after a play session. Please remove this mod and you're thumbnails will load normal again.
I don't have that mod so it's not that alone. I seem to think it depends on the number of mods installed..... I've found that less than around 20-30 and the route icons load OK but over that number and they just stick like this for a long time.
No thats not the problem! I have 233 mods installed and it works fine now. Its possible that you have an another mod that creates the same issue. You have to search and look wich one is the problem
I tested for 3 hours and it looks like almost every single mod that adds a new train with a custom thumbnail stops the menu thumbnails from loading after a run. I currently found at least 40 mods that breaks the menu and stopped testing after checking half my mods because that would mean i lose every single mod timetable. I just wait for dovetail to fix the menu.
Yeah what i have written already i have 233 mods and only 1 was the problem. I guess the mod creator has to fix this problem and yeah not every creator is still active in the community. I hope that my point is wrong and DTG has a work around
dtg_jan Hi Jan what day can expect these major updates that wasn't even post on the forum just discord witch some of us dont use. Thanks
Ok in my case I have found the culprits for the issue with route icons not loading......... I had three mods that caused the issue and now they have been removed all is fine. (Still sluggish to load as others have already posted) The faulty mods I had installed are.... !Tesco_FKA.pak NR_153VIU.pak rivieraoverlaymod.pak I can't find the Riviera Overlay mod on TSC now so that looks like a discontinued mod and I also had another version of the Tesco mod called !Tesco_FKA_Fix.pak but the issue is that the faulty version is what is packaged with the OST timetable mods for WCML South and Brum to Crewe so possibly needs the Fix version of the file adding to those timetables rather than the one used? I've commented on the Timetable mod page advising of this issue and also on the NR153 mod page along with someone else saying the same thing.
I don’t suppose anyone’s aware of any updates on future updates/patches across DTG’s various social channels? I think I’ll be sticking with 6 until some of the HUD formatting is resolved.
Supposed to be weekly patches from TSW7 being released. No patch up to now this week and no communication from any CM's.
