Route Tadami Line: Aizu-wakamatsu - Tadami

Then just.. wait until release day to see it yourself before you buy it?

 

I watched the live stream.

It was a route I was looking at purchasing.

Instead I think it should have been scrapped and started again, it looks dreadful.

 

How would scrapping it and being made again from zero make it any better? Lol

There is plenty of room for improvement, and I do hope they get around to fixing some stuff after release. But you guys are really overdramatic, lol.

 

I might be a bit biased since I’ve been really wanting this route for nearly three years, but in terms of visuals and textures, it didn't turn out badly
it’s nowhere near the worst TSW DLC
the only issues imo are the kiha poor engine sounds and the lack of suspension
personally, if they add suspension, i’ll be satisfied

 

I won’t be wasting any money on this route. Sorry, but it missed its chance to shine. It simply isn’t up to TSW 7 standard. Even TSW 7 as a whole isn’t up to TSW 7 standard with so many issues unresolved.

 

Because sometimes, the only way to start again is to scrap it and start over.

 

That is exactly what I wanted to show - or rather, express - with the image.

 

I don't see a point in purchasing this at all, especially with that price tag. Running Train is nearly half the price and better in almost every aspect. If I really want to play the Tadami route, I'll give TSC a go.

 

Restarting from scrap is clearly an abuse; the route just needs a big improvement.

 

The TSC variant is really bad though. This might look bad compared to TSW standards, but still miles better than the TSC one. Transmission and ATS simulation is also much more realistic.

This one seems enjoyable even despite the shortcomings. The Tadami Line in TSC was straight unenjoyable for me.

 

It's been in development for several years. There's only so many "improvements" that can be made before the hard decision has to be made.
