In points 2 and 3, you say that you should open it there, and in point 7, you say that you should close it again. In point 3, you say that you should close it, but what you closed in point 3, you haven’t reopened in point 7. Could that possibly be the reason?
No, because 32F81 - O V Signal Output should remain closed. It’s the scenario script that pops it open. Thanks, though!
Never mind! I figured it out! I will post the full workaround to complete this scenario once I write it all out.
Here is the full workaround to prevent getting stuck on the "Scroll down" step of the Faulty Friday scenario. When you are first prompted to "Press the 'St' hardkey", follow these steps instead: 1. Go into the engine room and close breaker "32F81 - O V Signal Output". 2. Go back into the cab and turn the battery off and on. 3. Wait for the system to boot back up. In particular, you need to ensure that the fault screen comes back on. If the fault screen does not come back on, turn the battery off/on again, and wait a few minutes for the boot cycle. 4. Put the reverser in forward, raise the pantograph, and close the MCB. 5. Release the brake to confirm you have control of the train with no traction lock. 6. Open the entire row of breakers on the cab breaker panel: Windshield Heating, Underfloor Heating, Footwell Heating, Secondman's Side Wiper, Driver's Side Wiper, Computer Fan. 7. Go into the engine room and open this entire row of breakers: Signal Lights Cab 1, Signal Lights Cabs 2, Cab Lights - Cab 1, Cab Lights - Cab 2, Cab 1 MFA/Instrument Lights/DSK, Cab 2 MFA/Instrument Lights, Machine Room Lighting, Timetable Light Cab 1/2. 8. You now have enough faults to proceed through the upcoming "Scroll down" step. 9. Press the 'St' hardkey as instructed. 10. Scroll down as instructed. 11. Press 'St' again as instructed. 12. Ignore the message that says "The locomotive appears to still be broken...". 13. Also ignore the instruction to turn the battery off/on again. The scenario will automatically skip those steps. 14. Close all of the breakers that you opened in Steps 6-7. 13. You may now drive to the final "Stop At Location" to complete the scenario!
