Well, since the new core route, we got a new longest route hopping journey in tsw7. From Ingolstadt to Nurnberg, then from Nurnberg to Wurzburg, then from Wurzburg to Fulda, then from Fulda to Frankfurt, and then from Frankfurt to wiesbaden. Lol
if you’re willing to change era then you can elongate it even more by going from mainz to koblenz in the 103
I would like to see an advanced hopping system where you can "stay" in the train and continue on the other route. Not only than the time tables are different, if you have a train fitting then running to the hopping point and then running back to the train makes you see the back lights of the train you wanted to continue.
The longest German journey was from the western coast of France, on the Atlantic, to the suburbs of Moscow That was the longest train travel you cold have done
For the last part, you could go from Frankfurt to Mainz instead and then from Mainz to Koblenz I think that should be the longest continuous stretch possible on German routes in TSW. Edit: Sorry, just saw that The Duck beat me to it Yeah that would be amazing I could imagine this being very hard to pull off too, from a programmer's perspective. Especially since most timetables of neighbouring routes are set in different years, with different itineraries. You're not as funny as you think you are.
Moreover, it is if not inaccurate at least imprecise... The track gauge was generally converted as the German advance progressed, but the regular passenger service coming closest to Moscow only reached Rzhev (until 43). As for the longest rail journey (transporting troops to the front), accounts mention Mga (near Leningrad) and Mtsensk further south (near Orel), but the record likely goes to the southern sector of the front in the autumn of 1942 (with references to the electric trains near Mineralnye Vody).
