I think I'll hold off till the 158 comes out. It does look decent but I think knowing that more services will be added I'll wait for the full experience.

Need to put money aside for the TSG route, Cumbrian Coast and Mildmay extension and the Portuguese route most likely. And the class 70.

 

The coming UK content so far looks pretty decent, the 70, Northern 158, Welsh 158, Birmingham/Shrewsbury etc etc.

The only one I'm holding of purchasing will be the ATS one.


I do hope that we get the GWR 158 one day.

 

Not sure that this has been mentioned before, but in addition to the track laid for KWVR, the Embsay and Bolton Abbey has track laid as well. The EBAR is near Skipton.

l can’t see why this has been done as had these Heritage railways been added, l would have happily paid £32.99 for this product or perhaps they will be finished in time and released for something like £14.99 or maybe £24.99. Seems peculiar to lay the track and leave it unfinished. Hope we are in store for a nice Christmas present from Rivet.

 

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but after the update, these blocks are appearing in the sky in large number even though I don't have any mods installed for this route...

Furthermore, the FPS drops drastically with these blocks.

 

It's quite good, finally had a drive around the network today. I don't think it's going to scratch my itch for a route I love that I'll spend multiple hours playing.

Had a little PTSD as I approached Skipton but that's due to music festival there in 2013 when an ex-tropical storm caused carnage and I had to sleep in my car because my tent was trapped under a failed metal fence.

 

Has anyone here used free camera to look at the shambolic "effort" that is the front of Skipton station? For a core route, what an absolute joke.

I truly wish Rivet were dropped from DTG's roster. Imagine if this route was made by Firefly, or Skyhook. It would've been absolutely incredible!

Don't get me wrong, gameplay wise it's still my most played route, but the absolute glaring issues are so easily spotted. Why must routes always be released in a not finished state? Just look at Running Train. Might still only be in beta/early access but it's an absolute breath of fresh air.
