not getting 2 buzzer sounds for guard mode, just getting one incredibly long one.

 

I cannot find a dedicated feedback thread for the Class 333 DLC, so I am posting this here:

Platform: PS5 Pro
Route: Airedale & Wharfedale Network
DLC: Class 333
Journey Mode Chapter: Rummy
Broken Service: 2D79 Ilkley to Bradford Forster Square

When starting service "2D79 Ilkley to Bradford Forster Square" from the journey mode chapter "Rummy", you are spawned in a partial train with only 1 car. This partial train is missing the pantograph, so it is not possible to drive the train or complete the service. I have attached screenshots of the partial train that you are spawned in.

This service does spawn the correct train in service mode. It is only journey mode that this service does not work in.

Can this broken journey mode service please be fixed in a patch? Thank you!

When using conductor mode on the 323 and other trains on other routes it opens doors on wrong side.

When using conductor mode on the 350/4 on WCML CRW2MKC the cab door opens and you cannot get the train moving after.

 

Good to know, but follow up question, why does this only happen at the end of the line at Ilkley and not at the end of the line at Skipton or Bradford Forster Square?

At the Bradford end of Shipley platform 4, there is a 20mph speed limit. But the speedometer doesn't change, just sticks to 30mph.

Some of the Speed limit boards do take affect or aren’t meant to be there such as the ones at Shipley and ones towards Neville hill.

 

I’ve driven the 333 a lot, I think it’s a superb train. Now that I’m back to the 331, something about the train's physics feels off. I’m not sure if this has been reported before, but the 331 seems to brake slightly when the throttle is at zero. I know the route perfectly by now and have my reference points, and I lose speed faster than with the 333 when I stop accelerating. It might seem like a minor detail, but it’s a really annoying issue. I’m going to switch back to the 333, hoping the 331 gets fixed.

The 333 is perfect, after a month I can say it’s now my favorite train in TSW.

 

Can confirm this is still broken after today's update.

 

I’ve found something quite interesting which may help narrow down the missing station announcement issue.

I’ve just installed the temporary Northern Class 158 replacement mod for Airedale & Wharfedale from Train Sim Community:

Standing at Leeds, the Class 158 services are correctly triggering full station announcements. I’m hearing announcements along the lines of “Northern service to…” followed by the destination and calling points.

I’m also hearing station announcements for CrossCountry services at Leeds.

However, at exactly the same station and in the same timetable session, I’m still not hearing equivalent announcements for the native Class 331, Class 333 or LNER Class 801 services.

This seems quite significant because it suggests the actual Leeds station announcement system is working. Both the Class 158 and CrossCountry services are able to trigger announcements correctly, whereas the native Airedale services appear not to be triggering them.

So rather than this being a general issue with announcements at Leeds, it looks more like there may be something wrong with the service/PIS/announcement data associated with the 331, 333 and possibly 801 timetable services.

I’ll do some more testing at Leeds and other stations, but this feels like a useful comparison for narrowing down the problem.

 

Class 801. The tail lights in the second cab are not working, even though they are switched on. If you teleport to the second cab (Ctrl + =) and switch the lights to any setting, then back to tail lights, they will start working.
BUT! After returning to the lead cab, the train will be completely dead. The brakes won't release, no matter what you do.
Resetting the physics (using the "I'm stuck" option) in the menu helps. But the tail lights will go out again.
