The journeys for both the 101 Expert and the 145 Expert are impossible to complete The 101 when doing a passenger run the command to lock the door at FULDA does not work, all the wagon with 2 on them at least on door remains open, and even closing the door manually using the camera 8 does not release the instruction LOCK DOOR The 145 the scenario FAULTY FRIDAY, when you stop and the scenario tells you there isa fault, it ask you to go to the ST and then scroll, but the screen for the ST is completely empty so the SCROLL instruction never release
For the doors on the 101 consist, sounds like your Waggons have run out of battery due to ZS not being enabled?! Just a guess, hard to say without a picture, but sounds like it at least. For the 145 scenario, you may want to have a look at point 43 on this post: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...leshooting-steps-and-bug-fixing-status.97479/
at the start of your service you need to switch the train line to start to ensure the battery doesn’t run out before the end of the run. i learned this the hard way
ZS ???? it is an electric train, it should be getting the power from the wire above the track, why is there a need for a battery
Why are you using an expert train if you don't want to learn how to drive it? The other user told you what was happening and you just argued with them. Not to mention, it's absolutely covered in the tutorials, which are basically mandatory for the expert locos.
my car runs on petrol, but still has a battery for the headlights. as Disintegration has just said, if you really want to master an expert loco then it’s of absolutely zero use to you to read the manual several times over, and actually do that instead of questioning what people are telling you
The Train Electric Supply provides power to the coaches and it's a separate power output that the loco creates from the power in the overhead wires. Reason is that this output needs to have standardised voltage regardless of how the loco itself is powered. For example if the power for the coaches is 3kV DC, the loco can run on 15kV AC, 25kV AC, 3kV DC or even be a diesel and it will still generate that exact same output. Coaches can also be connected to a stationary power supply if there's a need to power them without a loco. As for why the loco itself needs a battery, it's pretty similar to why you need one in a car. You wouldn't be able to raise the pantograph without battery power just like you can't start a car's engine without a battery.
There are more reasons why there could be disruption between the coaches and the OHLE. First the most common one the train will be changed to a different type of engine (diesel to electric vv) or there could be a incedent where the locomotive have to lower his pantograph, to prevent that the coaches get overheated in the summer or get to cold in winter to quickly there is a battery to keep the AC/ventilation still running. And the last most important one for a lot of people.... the the beer will be warm without power... Nobody likes warm beer right?!
I think most common reason is if you've got more than one loco in the consist, you only raise the pantograph on one of them, so the other one is lowered (unless you're using the second in banking mode)
