The issues it landed with didn't trouble me as much then as the issues it has now do. On XSX, blurring has never been worse northbound out of New St since TSW7 landed. Instead of fixing their botch, it's now actually worse 12 months later. They've completely stopped responding to or acting on any feedback provided it seems.

Their next route in the pipeline? Bham-Shrews, with the exact same stretch northbound from New St that won't work on Xbox. Consider myself lucky I didn't get the 805 or TV, and you can add the 70 to that list. I pretty much own all the UK content except the AABS stuff.

I have far more faith in AABS than del boy and Rodney at ATS

And the timetable's dodgy. Things stopped off path all over.

With the class 70 I'm personally mostly interested in it for the MML timetable, but I'm still slightly concerned about the blurry textures when Birmingham to Crewe is one of the worst offenders, unless you turn the 350 off, even in spite of them supposedly making improvements to the 350.

Then if you read the feedback thread for the 805 (which I will admit I never actually bought) it's full of complaints about CTDs on Xbox, and well, I'm an Xbox user.

Trent Valley on the other hand, does seem a lot better, at least with the reduced timetable although I haven't played it for a while, but so far, All Aboard stuff doesn't exactly have the best reputation on consoles, in my opinion.

And if the 70 follows the £14.99 loco DLC pricing, I'm not sure I'll want to indulge, outside of a sale, especially when my use out if will mostly just be using other trains instead on the MML timetable

805 is still broken - not touching this until it’s fixed.

Still not got MML route yet but wonder if we get Cross Country 170 as AI only on the 70 timetable

Has AAS said already what year is the TT supposedly based on?

I'm thinking if they might even try to fill the EMR services with the existing XC voyager, some 80x and 170s

I think that's the plan, to add Cross Country services and more AI across the route.

Doubt it would be post-2021. I'm leaning more towards 2019 or before that, when the VP185 HSTs were still out in force in large numbers. Would be a great opportunity to create an EMT livery for the 153.

(Unless I dreamt it as it was late last night!:|) I happened to come across Matt’s charity stream on YouTube and he was just about to start a 350 journey on WCML south and he had the 70 already on there but on yet another WCML south timetable! And it had less services than the Evero timetable, I’m hoping I did dream that and it’s still included in the Evero timetable. I haven’t had the chance to double check the YouTube video yet

Well, the 70 is not currently in the layers for the WCMLS Evero TT, so guess it'll be yet another one. It's weird because it is on the Trent Valley and B2C Evero TTs but not on WCMLS

Had it previously been announced to be in WCMLS? Knew it was in the two All Aboard routes, MML and Airedale, but had no idea about WCMLS.

As much as I want this loco, by all means, take the time to get it right. I'll still be here, hopefully, when it's ready.

I do have a feeling this one's going to be more in line with the JT 86 in price rather than the usual at this stage. Just the amount of routes it's on, the timetable for MML, the interactivity in the cab with AAS saying they're trying to make everything functional.

It's basically the closest we've had to a British Expert loco looking at it so I just can't see it being usual loco dlc price.

Not necessarily a bad thing, just with the current DLC climate, blurring and performance issues I think it needs a good release. :)

I’m surprised there is no article about it? When are these usually pushed out? Perhaps tomorrow before the stream?

the fact that there hasn’t been a release date or article today does raise concerns for me that the stream tomorrow could be postponed. surely if it was ready the article would’ve been today

i think this is a very important release for aabs. if this one still causes blurry textures and OOM crashes then i think i’m done buying their products, regardless of the visual quality. birmingham to crewe is still plagued. the 805 is possibly the worst optimised train in the entire game. trent valley faces the same problems as b2c. like i say, they produce lots of fun content, but if the performance isn’t good enough on this one then i don’t see it ever changing

I guess you’re on console as I don’t have any of the issues you mention on PC.

Nice to see I was wrong about the price! Actually looking forward to the stream tonight!

But the article is a painful one to read. Can't they just tell us about the DLC and the timetable? Why are there paragraphs banging on about enhanced lighting, live weather and epic graphics? We know those are features in the game and what they do. It's not a selling point that the class 70 interacts with those things when they interact with literally everything in the game?

Tell us more about the 70 itself DTG! Give us a timetable deep dive and some more insight into a DLC we've all been looking forward too!

Don't forget that for console players the only one of them that we get to enjoy is the live weather. So yeah bit of an odd inclusion in the article.

Yet another separate timetable for WCMLs, I can't be bothered with all these separate TT's now, hopefully a mod will be released with everything I need in the one timetable

Don't know why, but after my initial interest just not feeling any enthusiasm for this. Guess it comes down to being a bit jaded with the whole TSW scene at present and discovering I have plenty of gaming to tap into elsewhere. Will see how it shapes up on Day One but I suspect will end up being a sale purchase next year.

The main reason I'll be buying it is for the new MML timetable.

But I am beyond fed up with all the separate timetables as they are the worst of all worlds.

Timetable A: You get Train A and B

Timetable B: You get Train A and C but not B

Timetable C: You get Train C and a new wagon.

Same here. Think I’m burned out on TSW, every time I see the black boxes in the 805 cab it feels like DTG sticking two fingers up at me. Think it’s time I had a holiday from this game - I’m not buying any more DLC until the 805 is fixed, anyhow.

Well not to go off topic, but I'm just running the No.3 from Crystal Palace to Oxford Circus in openOMSI and it is like a new game. Hours and hours of gameplay ahead discovering maps and buses which were a pain to run in the og game.

Watching the stream and the sounds are pretty good, all the way from start and during speeding up when the whining of electric motors kicks in.

It does look great and sounds very good too. Definitely a good price at £14.99 especially considers it is on several routes plus a new MML timetable.

Similar in essence - after 7 years of playing in TSW, I also start to burn out, I switched to playing other games: Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr, GTA V Enhanced, Age of Empires IV, Serious Sam Revolution and other small indie games)

MML seemed even quieter somehow? Perhaps it was just unfortunate timing on the scenario. Doesn't look like the XC layers add much

In reality Cross County only really serve between Derby and Nottingham. The ones through Leicester are either terminators from Birmingham, or going through to Peterborough and Cambridge turning off at Syston Junction.
