I'm on a PC on Steam
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics
    16GB RAM
AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphic card (added later to improve gameplay - only play triansims)

I've also been pushing the new graphics settings a bit too and route seems to work without the out of memory I was getting before.

So chuffed as I was really excited for this route (my first 'day one' purchase) as it's my favourite era, now I can really explore.

Was considering having a more high spec PC built. This may have saved me a few quid :)

6P81 run Walton Old Side to Deepdale CCD Pt 1
Been stopped a red light at Winwick Down Slow for a long time.
    No trains are coming.
Not sure what I'm supposed to be stopped for.
I scouted on the map down the whole route to the next stop (Preston Goods Loop) and there's not even any trains on any of the miles of track between the two.
I'm confused.... is this supposed to be a planned long stop for no reason or is it a bug?

Last weekend i was running the "new" route preston / crewe for the first time, so here my thoughts on this. I purchaised day one, couldnt fire up sooner due technical reasons with my rig.

For me playing Just Trains content means enjoying the experience as a whole. Not just the driving part, but also looking at all the details and extras, which makes this route feel alive. And also extra credit from my side to this route choice, because ever since my start with TSW, i was looking forward to network based gameplay. With route hopping, a lot of rolling stock a very very rich timetable, the now 3 Routes of Just Trains connencting, keepeing me busy for hours. Cant wait for their next dlc which connects in carlisle.

With all the effort and extramile went into this route, i can also forgive small bugs, which i havent noticed yet ;). Im a huge fan of the BR 80s/90s era, so im more than happy having all this content, even with acessable enginerooms, and properly made class 87 / 86s, 47s. Its exactly the reason this legendary locomotives have to be made by capable devs. The class 90 deserves better than released as a dumpware.

I hope JT will continue making content in the 90s, because we have many other devs for the modern lines. Also i hope they might build the entire line down to London step by step, which would be insane. I noticed some feedback about this section beeing boring, which i cant share as my opinion. Back with GWR only, many Players suggested longer high speed main lines, which we got now.

My next suggestion is Preston - Manchester + Crewe - Liverpool with a new class 56, class 90 or 91. This would match the late 80s also.

So yes, i really hope they continue this approach, my purchaises will be day one for JT products. The routes are also very good for no Hud drivers, since the speedsigns are there.

They even made the cl.40 scrapline at crewe ;).

Is there a particular reason the class 31 hasnt made it into the route at all, also not as static stock?

If you're on console, all static stock in yards was removed to help performance.

While watching a few videos about Crew in the 80s, there is one shot with a class 56 in BR blue thrashing out of crewe. I hope if this loco comes one day, its made by JT.

The second light is for train heating and shouldn’t be on for freight services.

There's no 0T13 service that has you stop at Springs Branch North siding 4, as far as I'm aware...

I’m on Xbox as well, it is a bit of a shame but there’s not a lot we can do. At least (for me anyway) most of the blurry textures have went away since launch so that’s a plus I guess.

Maybe they didn't manually change points and ended up on wrong line? Not switching points has caught me out a couple of times on this route.

Interestingly according to this Rail UK Forums post the coal trains to Fiddlers Ferry were actually propelled backwards with a brake van at the end instead of being pulled by a shunter as depicted in the game.

Always saw it done with a shunter, never saw the brake van thing.

I couldn't reproduce this bug on the first two 0T13 services (though when I'd nearly completed the second the train flew off the rails when I coupled to the brake van...).

Has the braking for the wagons been fixed yet or does it still forever to stop . And have the lights on the locos been fixed so can a little bit in front you. Thanks

I dont see a problem with the braking at all, at least not with the trains im driving. Obviously its not a curve like braking an ice 4 down. 110mph is almost 180kmh.

The lights are in my opinion suposed to be as in reality.

So if you are refering to something else with the problems of braking or a bug, can you eventually be more specific?

The class 20 does not give of any light so its driving in pitch black the rest of the locos are fine. And the braking JT said themselves that it was taking to long for the brakes to apply on the wagons mainly the coal/salt ones.

The brakes on the coal wagons are not working properly and the high intensity headlights on the new versions of the locos do not emit any light at all.

Don't worry we're aware of the issues with the HAA and HEA wagons brake wise.
