Hello this is my first ever foreign (to where I am from) suggestion so I may not get everything right but today I’m suggesting a really good line in Canada, a country that doesn’t do regional or commuter trains (unless it’s a metro) very well but with this they smashed it! Stations: Bayview Corso Italia Dow’s Lake Carleton Mooney’s Bay Walkley Greenboro South Keys Leitrim Bowesville Limebank That is 10 - 12 miles which is more than reasonable for this route. This route would cost no more than £14.99 in my opinion. The fleet would consist of OC Transpo FLIRT trains which in my opinion are state of the art. These trains offer faster acceleration, easier boarding and modern facilities. That’s all from me today for thank you for reading
Looks cool but it would absolutely have to be a full-priced route and an investment into other things on top of that. The Flirts on this line are very different from the ones that drive in Germany. They have a different cab, PTC train protection and probably other specifics to satisfy canadian railway rules. Then you obviously have the PTC protection itself that needs to be implemented, new signaling and so on. So basically if you want a new Canadian route, you should look for something full-sized that can then possibly be turned into other DLCs as well.
Well there’s no FLIRT in the game already so it would be new regardless and since it’s a 12 mile very short line it would only need to be between £14.99 and £19.99 and not every route HAS to be able to be added onto… but thank you anyway!
