Does anyone remember if somebody came up with a repaint pack for Thomson's EandG route - Edinburgh and Glasgow - so that the Class 37 and the HST actually have logos on them? The Class 37, judging by the bright red .TgpcDx files, should be a DB Schenker. The HST is East Coast, I believe. Both are unbranded in the base package.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Only for the HST, should be among the UKTS files on Train-Sim.com

Just use LocoSwap to change the trains for those that do have logos - there are enough available 37s and HSTs

Yes, that's easy enough; I was just hoping - given the age of this route - that someone would have done a complete package. Thanks for the reply.

The package would as old as the route
And if the models are not up to modern standards then I swap them if I have an alternative

A route I ran recently used mainly Kuju Euro Loco stock and they looked poor

I only substitute modern models (i.e. AP) for the stock Kuju stuff if I've also upgraded the scenery of a route with AP weather, AP signals, AP veg, AP track, etc. etc. I find that the immersion of a route depends - at least for me - on everything being of a consistent state. For example, 1024 TgPcDx files as opposed to 4096 ones. That way the locos don't stand out against the background but blend in with it. Obviously, YMMV :)

For those who have followed and want the repaints I used (both available on trainsim.com for free) the files to download are: UKTS_26132_TM_EastCoastHST and UKTS_23036_37419 or UKTS_23035_37670.
