The London Underground Piccadilly Line is one of the busiest and most recognisable lines on the London Underground network, known for its distinctive dark blue colour on the Tube map. Opened in 1906, the line serves a mixture of central London landmarks, residential suburbs and major transport hubs, including Heathrow Airport.

(THE REASON THIS ROUTE SUGGESTION ONLY GOES AS FAR AS NORTHFIELDS IS BECAUSE OF LICENSING ISSUES AROUND HEATHROW)

The London Underground 1973 Stock is a fleet of deep-level electric multiple-unit trains built by Metro-Cammell for the Piccadilly Line. Introduced in 1975, these trains have become one of the most recognisable sights on the London Underground, operating services between Cockfosters, Heathrow Airport and Uxbridge for decades. Alongside the 1972 Stock used on the Bakerloo Line, this is the longest serving Underground Stock, at 53 years old.

    **WHY THIS ROUTE?**

Back before the Bakerloo Line was made in TSW2, DTG were originally considering the Piccadilly Line, however, due to the limitations at the time and the amount of stations, DTG changed their mind and went with the Bakerloo Line instead.

The Piccadilly Line (alongside the Bakerloo) have no ATO on it, meaning it is all manual driving, and for any other Underground Line in TSW, like for example, the Victoria, or Jubilee Line that have full ATO, the gameplay would just be a bit boring, pressing one button and going.

Back in TSW2, the bakerloo line suffered from a lot of issues, especially around light baking etc, however, TSW has come a LONG way since then, and I think it would be a good opportunity to come back to the Underground, especially if its done by a third party.

Yes, it is a lot of stations, yes, this route would be a challenge to develop, but third parties have done things that were once thought impossible to implement in game.

so, what do you all think, do you think its time the London Underground gets another shot?

    Thanks all for viewing.

Love to see the Piccadilly Line in the game along with the Metropolitan Line. Two underground lines which deserve to be in the game.
