Another update without Everos black boxes fix and without Mittenwaldbahn and Niddertalbahn fixes which was ready to be pushed in the August.
What is so hard about fixing the black boxes. I wonder if it took as long to make the actual model in the first place!
Whilst good to see some changes being made, particularly getting rid of that yellow text... The in-game UI is still a bit of a mess. Different fonts, font sizes, elements out of alignment (i.e. track monitor vs the minimal HUD) which just give an amateurish feel. And please can we have the HUD objective distance barber pole back (with a legible colour scheme....)
For all the good it’ll do I’ve opened a support form for the 805 cab problem. I’m absolutely sick of it and their total lack of regard for long-running bugs. I’m half expecting a dismissive “unable to reproduce” reply. Sticking to my guns in the meantime and refusing to purchase anything else. Again, for all the good that’ll do too
Hah - just got a reply... it's like they're deliberately stalling - all they have to do is fire up the 805 and look at the bloody buttons: We understand how frustrating this type of issues can be during your gameplay session. To help us investigate further, could you please provide the following: A DXDiag Report (in .TXT format): Press Windows Key + R, type dxdiag, and press Enter. Once the tool opens, click "Save All Information..." and save the file as a .TXT. Attach this file to your reply so we can review your system specs and any potential driver or hardware-related issues. A Short Video of the Issue: A brief recording showing the issue in action would be extremely helpful. You can upload the video to YouTube or any other file sharing platform of your choice—just make sure the video is set to public or unlisted, so we’re able to view it. Please include the link to the video in your reply. With this information, we’ll be better equipped to analyze what’s going on and guide you toward a resolution.
It’s basically the same AI slop every support request generates even if totally irrelevant. Company is a joke.
Again I hate to keep going on about openOMSI but I submitted a report yesterday evening about the save game not working properly to the GitHub. Had a reply back in less than 24 hours confirming it had been sorted and in the next version update. That's a free game with just a few people working on it.
Makes you wonder what the hell DTG are actually doing. Apart from releasing buggy new content and poor updates. What are they doing.
Certainly they’re not paying anything more than lip service to bug reports Everything they needed to know was in the first sentence of the report, but did they even bother to read that? Clearly not - a DxDiag is absolutely NOT needed, nor is a video - just fire up the 805 and look at the sodding buttons. In a day or two they’ll close the report and carry on doing absolutely nothing to address one of the most glaringly obvious issues in any DLC. And I’ll continue to not give them any more money.
I am not very happy after what I have read in the roadmap. There are nothing about fixes for the pre tsw 7 content.
Is this a TSW7 DLC or a pre-TSW7 DLC? It was released in late august 2026 and it is called "Train Sim World® 7: Amtrak's Acela®". It seems pretty clear from the perspective of someone just looking at stuff without hearing DTG's spin.
It is a pre-tsw7. Every year is new version of the every older DLC re-released with TSW+1 badge. But it is still the same DLC.
It is the same DLC for a "different" game. Rapid Transit was one of the first TSW DLC and there it is - released in the august 2026.
If it's a different game why does my TSW2 DLC work on TSW7? edit: I am using you as a rhetorical prop (?) I am sure you think these questions are stupid.
Funny when TSW really started to become a thing DTG was so active and informative on here. Asked us for input and everything. Now we cant even get a single reply on 90% of what we ask about. Looking at the Technical issues area seems like nothing ever gets addressed anymore.
The argument is probably that we're in TSW7 now. The bugs are for content that was released before TSW7 and support on those versions have ceased. They have to spend this year working on TSW8 and telling us that fixing stuff for TSW7 is a bigger job than they originally thought it would be, they weren't made aware of it by the beta testers but they'll keep looking into it, and don't forget that there's a new route coming soon. Keep an eye out for the preview streams.
Did you watch the livestream for the October roadmap? Was anything mentioned about blurry textures or the lighting upgrade for consoles? I dont really want to sit through 2 hours of waffel.lol JazzyGeofferz That will be a rinse and repeat over and over with each `new`game i suspect.
Apologies for the delayed response. Yes, the next patch is currently being finalised and is scheduled for tomorrow, provided no unexpected delays pop up. The honest answer is that we simply don't have as much time for direct community engagement as we'd like. Our responsibilities as Community Managers extend well beyond the forums, and following the recent team changes, we're having to cover more ground with fewer people. For context, our core Community Team consists of three full-time members, with part-time support from Candace. Since Harry moved into her new role as Social Media Manager, we've had fewer people available to focus specifically on community engagement. This is also why we initially proposed reducing the scope of the forums and keeping discussions and reports in more clearly defined areas: to help us follow conversations, gather feedback and track issues more effectively with the time available. We ultimately listened to your feedback and kept the General Discussion area open, but the limitations on our time haven't changed. We're trying to take a broader approach to communication, prioritising community-wide announcements and updates that reach as many people as possible, rather than replying to individual posts. We still read as much as we can, particularly in official threads and feedback discussions (where we mostly reply to ask follow-up questions), and continue to pass reported issues on to the relevant teams. However, I appreciate that fewer visible replies can make it difficult to tell what's being read or acted upon. We absolutely want to engage more with the community, but we have to be realistic about what we can manage with the time and resources available. It's not a lack of interest or care, but I can understand why you would think so. All the best, Jan

Decided to boot up TSW 7 and do a run on Trent Valley and it’s running impressively good, even better than before i’d say. Haven’t run into blurry textures at all yet after a run and currently halfway through another. I’ve got all the DLC besides the Class 70, XC 170, and the 158 from MML. (Series X, Sorry guys)
Anyone tried the 805 yet? Finally fixed, or did they break the 807 now too? “Restored higher-resolution cab textures to improve visual quality and bring them in line with other IETs in Train Sim World”
I haven’t tried the 805. In all honestly i don’t drive it much to begin with as i can’t stand a full-hour run without cruise control. As for the 807, it’s texture quality is much better than before, although the seat isn’t what i would’ve liked to see. It’s definitely got some quality of life improvements like the much needed speed control screen actually being clickable.
good to hear, i'll have to give it a spin later. with all the talk about how much was learned from b2c, trent valley still faces huge problems with textures and crashing on consoles which hasn't really been acknowledged until now
No its not fixed. The class 805 is not part of TrendValley but a seperate addon. So you don't see any changes here!
i was referring to the trent valley route, not the 805 which i haven't driven for months. the 807 is just superior in so many ways
Yeah thats the whole point its so much you can't ignore it it's very large.... Otherwise you can also share the link right? He has a mouse and he can click on it....
