You mean they patched this already?

I haven't played this route for over a month or so.

I remember the water was missing before.

I'm not looking at buying this DLC at this stage but I have to say it is a gorgeous looking cockpit!

100% agree. Can't exactly call it the San Francisco "Bay" Area without a bay full of water!! And as for extending freight services, I think the UP GP60 would be something to keep in mind for the future.

Looks like a great view from the driver's seat. Can definitely see myself picking this up in the future.

Sorry to say that (esp. as my first post on these forums), but at least on Xbox One there was no water visible before the update.
But until now I've also not been able to check this after the recent update. If it's still there I'll try to post a screenshot separately.

BTT: Imho it's a great model of the loco and a nice addition to the route. I'm looking forward to try this out.

    Service 217 buggy.
Blocked at a red light. All the trains in front of me are blocked by a train at the red light.

The cab car is now completely inoperable after the most recent update. Locomotive at tail end no longer responds to the throttle in the cab car (even on the tutorial).

Are you certain that you've switched the three coloured switches (Fuel Pump, Generator Field, Engine Run) to ON and switched the brake cut-off valve to IN?

Doesn't seem to be any issue on PS4.

Edit to add: Cab setup key must also be on, and as Michael says below, hit the green Engine Run button next to the throttle.

Also just to add make sure you press the green engine run button as well.

Not having any issues with it on PC either.

Just ran into this too. Spent a while trying to force it to move, and tried save/reload, but no joy.

I gave this service a try and ran into the same problem, there is a train stopped a Redwood City that just will not move. I flew up to it and open and closed the doors it still would not move. Went up to the cab window and open it up found the brakes in emergency and the reverser in neutral. Tried getting the train to move to no avail. Definitely a bugged service.

I flew the free camera in through the door (which I closed behind me), got into the cab and went through the whole procedure while the driver looked on blankly. No luck getting it to move!

Just re-flagging that this DLC is still not associated with the TSW gamepage on PS4 Store (in the UK), which will result in fewer sales.

Yes, I did every cab set up possibility imaginable and still had no luck. Even after following the steps on the cab tutorial, the engine still would not move. This persisted even after restarting the game.

I did, however, re-install the DLC and that did the trick. I’m not sure what happened, but it was definitely a bug.

On Xbox too. There are 4 AI trains blocked in the north track and a permanent red signal before San Bruno(?) station. And its strange cause the first AI train is blocked at Redwood City station and has the clean track until San Francisco...I tried to take the control of this service but at about 900 yards after Redwood City station i meet a perma red signal. This segnal is the origin of the bug.

It's a bug. I had the problem on the 217 and there would also be another one according to Anthony.
This was said at DTG, according to Anthony.

Hope someone from DTG reads this, I bought the resent release on PS4 but I have no access to this DLC.
Anyone else have this problem, tried downloading the whole game and all DLC.

This problem can be marked as solved, possibly a PS database error.
After repair Database it showed up.

Apologies for "spamming" this thread with helpful information intended to help DTG make more money, but I am now *bumping* this thread to re-flag, yet again, that the Baby Bullet DLC is still not yet associated with the TSW Game Page on PlayStation Store (in the UK):

    https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/grid/EP2866-CUSA10019_00-TRAINSIMWORLD20S/1?relationship=add-ons

It's not a big issue, to be fair. There might be a few sales lost (at premium price), for example, if:

    - people don't see the DLC associated with the Game Page online, on the PS4 XMB, or on the PS4 PlayStation Store app;
    - people don't see the DLC listed when they are buying other DLC; and
    - people who search for the Baby Bullet DLC and find it, then don't see the other full range of DLC available, which they might purchase at the time they are visiting the store, following their specific search.

Not a biggie. Just a bit of cash being lost, completely needlessly. No need to hurry to fix it, or anything. It's probably fine, just as it is - not making as much money as it could be making.

Don't be in a hurry, there is a bug on trip 217. We are blocked at a red light.
That said, the loco is superb.

Optional and circumstantial I believe, looks like you turned the EP on, but if the dynamic brake cut-out is on as in picture that seems to suggest you have cut out the dynamic break, but I ain’t 100% sure

that dynamic brake cutout when it is on the dynamic brake works... and when it is off it doesnt activate... you arent the only one confused by words :D

I was wondering more on that EP, like, what does it do... if it adds to the braking force or anything :)

So on EP (ElectroPneumantic) braking, I'm no expert but I did read a bit about it while back. My understanding (experts feel free to correct me) is that when you pull the brake handle, an electronic signal travels down length of train and tells each individual cars' equalizing reservoir (I think, again I'm no expert) which let's the brakes apply pretty close to instantly throughout the train. So there isn't more force, the force is just more quickly applied down through length of train.

Yes, that's pretty much it. Although on modern systems, a sequential electronic delay can be programmed for heavier trains.

It's an air brake control system which really has nothing to do with dynamic/regenerative/eddy current braking

The wrinkle is that the Caltrain sets don't actually use EP brakes in the normal way - they only have the EP Hold function, though the mechanism for it all is the same.

With EP Hold it instructs all the coaches to hold their brakes in applied state even if the brake pipe is charged - which is then what happens.

The result is that you stop, put it in EP Hold, the brake pipe charges but the brakes stay on - and then you pop it in release when you're ready to go and it will instruct the brakes electronically to release. Result? Faster release, and immediately ready to fully reapply even right after getting going again (whereas normally, you'd have to wait a bit for the brakes to have fully charged again for a proper brake application to work).

    Matt.
